Didn't your brother's laptop have no issues at all? And you have not posted a thing off that laptop using a external camera and now you are back. I have perfect suggestion for you sell your pc and buy the same laptop your brother bought, problem solved! No need to come here you have been useless to this community when needed.

It is not platform dependent. Yes that pattern is visible.it can be different from device to device, which means another ps4 could have same issue that this one hasn't and as shown another pc could not have these issues. So it is all about whether your device is affected or not, not about what your device is. Plus it might not be a problem at all that moires pattern , I am especially worried about jaggies and shimmerings

Here we go people using 30hz setting and claiming they have the same issue as us. But if it helps someone I won't mind.

Okay if that's true then we can say being on same network won't create problems. But it would not be confirmed until you can personally go to one of their houses and see it for yourself.

So that is why I said use a phone camera and post through it. I don't care about fps just that this new laptop of your brother's with win 8 which didn't have these problems you said, yeah we want that recording off a phone camera.

Okay if you were connected after the problem occured to you, then that should rule out a malware but for that you have to be sure that others didn't get it. Are you sure? Do you have enough access to those devices to confirm it? Or it could still be a malware but it triggered only for you because your device has the required condition to be triggered for malware to work. I don't know, if you can confirm this that other devices that connected through your LAN definitely don't have this problem, then at least we can rule out malware thing. Please see that , and reply.

Graphic downgrade or something like that is a consequence . It is not a malware? Like okay but then what is it? I have seen few instances of malwares causing bad gaming experience, overdrawing power and overusing cpu and ram. Also I have found malwares that don't cause any obvious performance downgrade on windows or even gameplay but they would do something like increasing load time by 10s , now that doesn't mean somebody especially designed a malware to just impact loading time by 10s. It's just a consequence. And I know that it was malware because once I removed those malwares , the load time was drastically faster like 1 or 2 s instead of 10 or 12 s and I didn't know that it was supposed to be that fast , i always thought that 10 to 12 s of loading time was normal. yes it is very complicated to make a malware that works on all kinds of devices, but there are heavely funded sophisticated pieces of malware that spread without target maybe because they fell into wrong hands or nobody takes responsibility for damages it causes because they are zero day and no one from popular security product vendors have detected it. But here is the thing , first everything was fine then these issues appear suddenly overnight. In such short span what could change that is hardware related? And if it was hardware related a fresh new pc would not have those issues immediately transferred. But what everyone shares in common is the internet. And if there is a zero day worm or Trojan lose on the internet then slowly but surely everyone will get it. But then everyone has not got it. Only a few people have. So that means special circumstances are required for such malware. One of them would be direct contact like sharing of external media or it would be using the same network or it would be using the internet that everyone shares. So those which are most vulnerable are definitely infected. It has to be some pieces of code that was executed that in consequence caused these issues. Now there might be other issues as well but we don't know it. We only know these weird graphic issues in games.
