  1. Kinda RIP that RGB will always look like crap on the enter and spacebar because there's only one switch/light under them. But other than that I think they turned out pretty sweet my imagination is kind of wack so i can't really think of anything else to add, only idea im considering is making a whole set with comic sans only xD really think the tab, shift and CSGO/Astralis keys look really good though Thoughts?
  2. Why would I need to be running it on a virtual machine though? When you really get down to it it's just a very specialized Linux distro no? Not looking to invest much in this because it works fine as is, it's just dog slow. And with the small amount of money I am willing to pay for a box it's probably gonna be more of the same. Obviously all these AndroidTV boxes are made with ARM hardware, but that shouldnt make x86 totally incompatible? I remember it was a crap job but I was able to get android running on some windows tablets back in the day...
  3. I have a Samsung 4k 50inch TV and it's pretty good picture quality for the money, but geez is the hardware running the Tizian OS is horribly laggy and just slow in general. Would it be possible to repurpose an old laptop and install AndroidTV on it, and controlling it with a Bluetooth remote or something of that sort? Anyone that have any experience with this? I obviously could just buy a box but it it would be a fun project I think
  4. If you look at the caps-lock on the picture in the answer above u can see the RGB
  5. The see-thru ones are my macros/programmed buttons, never felt like I need to label them Only crap thing is that the RGB on my Old Ducky One 2 Mini was way brighter because of the stem was a part of the light as well, this board is just a cheapo one with Kaihl Browns and it was only supposed to be used while waiting for a new USB port for the Ducky but I actually prefer this board over the Ducky. I paid 30$ for the board so you could say I was very positively surprised hehe Ducky makes pretty good boards but they're a pain to cuztomise because no software.. This is also a 70% instead of my old 60% and arrows + 6 programmable keys is sooooooooooooo much better.
  6. Well ass long as I get the right caps the RGB would shine thru the engraving
  7. I think the original markings on those keys would be unwanted in that case tbh, if you have a custom cap you probably already know what that key does
  8. It's just that literally all keys except the spacebar are impossible to customize because of the exisiting letters
  9. I want to try and start a service selling custom keys that is a more cheap alternative, this was my first demo and it turned out nice but would probably be even better with something double-shot so RGB will shine through the designs as well, anyone know where I could source keycaps (thinking mostly spacebars, 2U and 2.25U might be smart to buy as well) Also, what are the main differences in PBT and ABS caps? Are there other variations with keycaps I should be aware of? If anyone is interested in buying I will happily make one for you for "earlybird" prices I usa a laser engraver for this, will all double-shot caps shine the RGB through? The laser just removes the paint, ir colors it if I put the laser on low intensity
  10. If you can find the correct type and color spacebar u want on ebAy or Alieexpress I would be happy to make one for you as long as you cover shipping
  11. haha yeah got the idea to try and make something cosmetic with my laser engraver, I actually only use it to repair back-glasses on phones and it was like 2k USD haha Not very popular but I find it cool to engrave my phones, did this one recently for a friend x2UxFnc.mp4
  12. Was thinking marketing by finding out what pro-players that do streaming and finding their keyboard on https://prosettings.net/ or such and just send out a bunch of them and hope for a tweet or shoutout, probably better than like google ads I think
  13. https://kbdfans.com/collections/clearance/products/epbt-cherry-profile-abs-pink-keycaps These are the main ones. I would say 90%+ of people that would spend 20 bucks for a custom keycap is a keyboard enthusiast and using a Cherry keyboard. Or cherry style more exactly. It's basically the industry standard for mechanical boards. The 6.25YU seems to be the most standard, ie the K70 uses it, my Ducky One 2 mini and my other boards do as well Only other types are shitty mech-feel and Romer-G afaik So I think just buying differrent color and types of cherry caps would have me pretty much covered
  14. Aren't the cheery type spacebar caps all a standardised length? Takes minutes and is like no effort to make so I could sell pretty cheap. I also found the sites with custom templates and such but I obviously can't do colors or anything like that. I mean my laser literally only removes the paint-layer. sidenoite: tried to be funny with one
  15. With the keycap in the pic I could sell it for 10 bucks with shipping and have really good margin still
