  1. *I made a post about this before but was at work and couldn't get any further info. That post should be gone now as this is the new one and we didn't solve the problem. To those who did respond thank you!* In everything I play im getting very poor performance for this card and nothing anywhere close to the same frames of friends i know with almost identical builds. They are getting 100-150 FPS more on high settings while im at low struggle to hit 144 and usually hitting about 90-110 in most games. I'm getting less performance then people with 3060's. Compared to my 2070 Super I upgraded from the upgrade is almost non existent. I've ran DDU and did all that, double checked that XMP is enabled, GPU isn't getting too hot. In games like Warzone and Vanguard im struggling to get over 14% GPU usage( Sometimes i can get to 30's) while CPU is around 40%. In Rust Im only getting about 93 FPS on all "competitive" Settings. In vanguard im fluctuating between 130-150 FPS where my friends are seeing very high 200's (touching 300's) whilst streaming none the less Do I need a fresh windows install? the performance is so negligible to what I had its kind of disheartening haha. One weird thing i have yet to check but wanted to ask (Hoping for a miracle) before undoing all my cable managing is this card has 3 8 pin power cables. Is it possible that my Cable Mod cable extensions are effecting anything? Never had the issue with my 2070 Super but its one of those off the wall questions I thought I may ask. I know warzone isn't a well optimized game at all, or call of duty in general, but why could i be getting over a hundred frame descrepancy from people with the same setup. Checked with my buddies, set all game settings and stuff the same. 3D Mark Benchmark: https://www.3dmark.com/3dm/76382840? 3. Literally the only video i didn't see lol. Funny enough was watching this as i got the notification. Thanks!
  4. So, I've done some reading and looked up some stuff but want to know if anybody has any personal experience running two different cards. No, I am not trying to get SLI like benefits.Simply another card to set as my encoder when i record or to use strictly to render so i can play games as I render. Any tips? Is it worth it? This wouldn't be a thought if i wasn't able to get a 980 for an ridiculously low price.
  5. Title says it all! Anybody have any personal recommendations for another mobo similar In price point and with wifi capability? Really wanted the elite but most sites aren’t even showing a back order just unavailable.
  6. That’s exactly my thinking as well. On their site though it says at least in the 3600mhz model that only black is compatible which makes zero sense. However the 3200mhz is amd compatible In white. I know everyone says “atleast 3600 for AMD” but would 3200 be that big of a difference? Especially with a lower latency? I don’t want to sacrifice performance for looks though.
  7. Hi, having trouble picking ram and wanted some suggestions. Building a PC with the 3700x and X570 Aorus elite WiFi. First time building a pc in a while. Now that amd is up and doing well I’ve decided to give them a try. I’m doing a black and white build and would really like to have some white ram. Rgb is wanted but not a deal breaker. One odd thing to me is that the Vengeance RGB pro in black is amd compatible and 3600mhz but the white isn’t? According to corsairs site. Would the white work though? Anyone have experience? also I’ve seen thermaltake tough ram. Never used it any good? I’d like the Corsair in white but I just don’t see how the black kit states compatibility and the white doesn’t? Any tips? i could go to 3200 MHz if necessary.
  8. Thanks man! Like I said I’m almost trying to convince myself to upgrade lol. Not completely needed now but I’ve done some saving and want something new and improved to look at and use!
  9. Hi all, My question is as the title states. right now I’ve got an i7 4770k (not overclocked and not really an option given my case and some other things) Some gigabyte motherboard Z77-ud5(3?)h don’t remember but it’s done it’s job. 16 gigs of DDR3 ram and a few months back I upgraded my 660ti to a 2070 super. Oh and I can’t forget, all mechanical drives. Currently I’m looking into a new system. This one still performs fine, I just feel like it’s going to start showing it’s age soon. Currently torn between a 3700x or the 9700k. I know technically the Ryzen is the better value but all I do for now is game and some music production. But the price difference and minimal amount of extra frames from the 9700k isn’t selling me. Yet still torn. what I’m wondering is, is it worth an upgrade will I see a decent performance upgrade and quality of use changes going to something newer such as the ryzen 3700x, an x570 board with a m.2 and SSD? Also, if I go with ryzen. Is 3200mhz good? I’m not super into just blatantly blowing money but I’ve got to say. I’ve kinda just got that itch to build again.
