  1. I have 2 monitors in which i previously had one connected with a DVI cable, and the other HDMI. They both worked fine with those cables, but I couldn't get 144hz on my second monitor with the HDMI cable I had so I decided to just buy 2 display port cables and hook both of them up with that into my GPU. After doing that however, whenever my computer goes to sleep, the monitors will get no signal. The computer still works, I get audio if a video is playing, and if I remote desktop I can see that the inputs I make still work just fine, it's just that the monitors get no signal. Initially I would just go into remote desktop and restart the computer and it would work, but recently not even that is fixing it. The only way I've found to get them to work again is to do a hard shutdown by holding the power button, and then turning it on again. Obviously I don't want to have to do that every day when I turn my computer on, so what's the deal? The only thing I can think of is a power issue, because I have a lot of things plugged into the same outlet that my computer is plugged into, but why would that only affect the display port cables and not the other ones?
