Hi Everyone, I'm having an issue where explorer is showing Number of Items twice. Typically, I would only see the dark themed box but here I'm getting both. I have no idea what I've done for this to happen and looking to have it removed. Any ideas? Thanks for your help!

Hello, I am currently running Linux Mint full time - and no real intention or desire to move back to Windows at the moment, however, I am trying to figure out how I can self-host FreshRSS without the need for a secondary PC. I know that I need to set-up a web server in order to do this, but can I do that from inside my main PC? Its been ages since I messed around with hosting etc and tech has probably moved on since I last tried. How can I most efficiently self-host a FreshRSS using just the one PC? What are you referring to? I've been using it for the last 5 years its been absolutely fine. Why is it a bad PSU?.... I never had any issues.....

Hello, I recently bought a new graphics card to upgrade my PC. I bought the RTX3060 12GB GPU. I was wondering if I needed to upgrade a PSU from 550W (that I have currently) to 650W or more…. Any advise would be great. I went to one of those wattage calculators: https://pc-builds.com/power-supply-calculator/result/qoq It said my total config would use 398W. Unsure if this merits an upgrade to a 650W or do I already have enough of a margin? Thank you

H all, I have a problem formatting one of the hard drives I have. I have been able to bring it online in computer managment and managed to get it t show in explorer, however, I get an error when trying to access it. It currently doesn't appear to have a partition on it at all. Please see the screenshot attached.... I've merged two screenshots into one image. Please could you assist. Many Thanks, mikber

Hi All, I have been trying to install pop OS on my PC but it will not, under any circumstances begin the installer. I can login with Live Image ok, select language, keyboard layout and when I select 'install POP os' nothing happens. I've disabled secure-boot on the system, but did not change anything. I've tried creating the Live USB with Rufus, balenaEtcher but either way its just not going past the install. Once I click the 'install PopOS' the window disappears and its nowhere to be seen again. If I go to click it again from the 'taskbar' it seems to start the installer from scratch. Please help.

Hi All, I have no idea why but I have an endless list of boot entries under my boot menu key. They seem to be copies of the same disk and I have no idea how to fix it. My BIOS seems to be practically unusable whilst booting into a USB Key with windows - admittedly created with Bootcamp assistant on OSX - creates only the flashing cursor effect. Any ideas on what the heck might be going on? My ultimate aim is to be able to boot into the flash drive to re-install windows from scratch. I was using popOS until now, but there are just some things that I simply need to get done on Windows. Many Thanks

Its all sorted. it was an extension for Gnome Shell that has been causing the issues with the lack of boarder. I have disabled it and all is as it should be Thanks for your support.

Consequently I am unable to de-register that activation aka. receive a deactivation code. Would you be so kind to let me know if I am able to overcome this issue.

Hi Guys, I've had to reinstall my OS because things went slightly not to plan and I have not made a note of an extension I was using to control my audio sources in gnome shell. With that in mind, the feature I liked the most about it was the fact that you could rename the audio output source to your hearts content. Any ideas of a gnome-shell extension that does indeed enable me to do this? I was able to rename my sources and just click on them as and when I needed, but I cannot remember what the name of that extension was. Thanks for your help in suggestions.

Hi Guys, I've installed the telegram-desktop app in popOS, but I am having no joy in in having a border of any description. Equally, discord does not have a border either. So it seems to happen to certain apps but not all. Any thoughts o how to fix it?

Hello team, I'm quite new to Linux. On and off lurker and inquisitive as hell, but never quite managed to make Linux look the way that I really want it to- though that's a case of trial and error, I will get there eventually. I really enjoy gnome-shell as a space, but one thing that annoys the heck out of me is the size of those icons on the side bar. In OSX you are able to just click and drag to reduce the size. Am I able to achieve something similar in popOS. I just find those icons far too big and need them reduced in size Cheers

Hi Guys, Is there a way to file share between my machines in the setup above? PC - Eternet over power adapters Macbook Air - WIFI. Or is the only way of achieving this is both of the machines on WIFI? Thanks
