  1. PC-A clone does have the win7 OS as well as the files and software. How would I go about putting everything from the PC-A Clone onto the fresh win10 PC-B without reinstalling everything? Would it only be possible if PC-B was win7?
  2. Right I want to avoid that. Too much stuff on PC-A that I can't risk losing due to complications. If I were to clean it up and have a backup of my files/software, the best thing would be to upgrade PC-A to win10 first and THEN clone the drives and transfer to PC-B (fresh win10) correct? (Even if I have to re-install everything 1 by 1)
  3. Is there any way to have exactly what I had on PC-A(win7) but on PC-B(fresh win10) without going through installing all of the programs one by one? Is this possible with system restore?
  4. Yeah sorry I didnt really explain that part. A lot of software for video editing and project files were on PC-A so I wanted to know if I could just transfer all of that to PC-B which is a fresh installed Win10 PC. So no issue with putting files/software that were on a win7 pc onto a fresh win10 pc?
  5. So PC-A wasnt cutting it. I decided to clone the drives and put them in my G-Raid so theyre on hold at the moment. Basically I want to transfer what I had in PC-A into PC-B but since I backed everything from PC-A that was on a win7 PC, I'm wondering if I can take whats in my G-raid (the cloned drives/files) and put them on PC-B which is a freshly installed win10 pc.
  6. Hey LTT friends, I cloned PC-A drives which was on Win7 and I want to put these cloned drives on PC-B which is a fresh install. Does PC-B absolutely have to be Win7 to be able to accept the cloned drives or can my PC-B be Win10 and have no issues? I hope I'm making sense... I have a key for win10 so it would be a waste to not use it but before I do anything and possibly lose all my data, I wanted to know if this was possible. Thanks for any help/advice, I greatly appreciate you all and what you do!
  7. Budget (including currency): 1800 Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming/Streaming Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Is this even possible? https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Chancey19/saved/9rK2Vn I've seen so many builds with mATX and it looks great aesthetically so I tried looking for an mATX that is compatible with a Ryzen 7 3700x and I've seen SO many recommendations that I have NO idea what to go with. - MSI B450M Mortar or Arsenal are considered the best ones but are unavailable EVERYWHERE so that's out. - MSI PRO B450M PRO-VDH MAX is the current one I'd like to buy. It's on special for 99$ CAD right now and it supports gen 3 out of the box, however there are numerous conflicting discussions vs it being subpar for the 3700x or fine for the 3700x. - Gigabyte B450M Aorus seems to be semi reliable, again its mostly discussions about preference, but the cooling not being good enough keeps coming up. - ASRock Steel Legend or any other B450 seems to be okay as well, but I think the Pro-VDH MAX is still better. My question is, is this even worth the headache for the aesthetic? Budget is a factor, <200 if possible. Case is the Corsair Carbide 275r (Which takes ATX, mATX and mITX) I plan to use my PC for streaming and gaming, no OC in mind. I just want to run it out of the box and that's it. Should I just abandon the idea of pairing an mATX with the 3700x? My research has led me to many reddit forums and toms hardware and even LTT but there never is a clear answer (Which, I understand, probably never happens) Thanks for any help or tips!

  9. Is it better for the back to be exhaust or intake? I am getting 2 versions, I just want to make sure I'm making it the most efficient.
  10. Hey everyone! First time builder here. I recently purchased parts for a new build. The 200r was highly recommended for the quality/price of it. It has 1x120mm fan in the front and 1x120mm fan in the back. I bought 2x120mm Arctic F12 Silent (3pin) to add to my case but I'm not sure where to put them in order to optimize performance. The Corsair 200r has two available spots on top, two available spots on bottom and two available spots on the sidepanel. Also, I have a Cooler Master Hyper212 Evo CPU fan. From my quick research, it seems that a rule of thumb is to fill TOP before BOTTOM or SIDE, so I'm thinking put one on top (Pushing Out) and one on side (Pushing Out)? Also, I'm not sure if this information is necessary but I have 2 cats and lots of carpet so hair will be present... I don't know why I'm sharing that since dust and hair will probably make its way inside my PC but maybe it changes things! I appreciate any help I can get! I'm here to learn! Cheers!
