I am thinking about upgrading my motherboard from b450 tomahawk max to the x570 series. I have narrowed down my options to asus strix x570-f and the gigabyte x570 aorus pro. The gigabyte board is around 10 usd more expensive, but that doesn't matter. Which of these motherboards should I go for? I currently use ryzen 9 3900x and 2070s.

I tried that but it still doesn't work. Tried plugging it in both mic and line in, but neihter worked

I recently built my first pc and have run into one problem. I can't get the microphone to work. Two different options show up in sound settings under input, but no one works. It's either stereo mix or microphone, and when I select stereo mix it detects the sound playing in my headphones, but nothing else. the option microphone detects nothing. The audio is working fine. I have tried changing drivers, input device, check in BIOS to make sure audio was on, but I dont know how to fix it. Is there a way I can fix this microphone issue? I am currently planning building my first pc, but I cant figure which GPU i should choose. I am stuck between the msi rtx 2070 ventus and gigabyte rtx 2070 windforce. I can also get the zotac rtx 2070 super for the same price, but its a demo card, so I dont know if it's worth it. Which card is better and I should choose? Thank you
