  1. Hi All, I recently have been looking for a PC, and I have a build in mind, but I'm a bit confused on how rgb controlling would work, and what fans I should get/need for this build. Also, any feedback on the build would be great! Here's the build: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (12nm) 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor $149.47 @ Amazon Motherboard ASRock B450M/AC Micro ATX AM4 Motherboard $93.98 @ Newegg Memory Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 Memory $64.98 @ Amazon Storage Crucial P2 500 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive $64.99 @ B&H Video Card Asus GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB TUF GAMING OC Video Card $229.99 @ Best Buy Case Thermaltake Versa H18 MicroATX Mini Tower Case $54.99 @ Best Buy Power Supply Cooler Master MWE Gold 650 W 80+ Gold Certified Fully Modular ATX Power Supply $99.99 @ Best Buy Operating System Microsoft Windows 10 Home Full 32/64-bit $119.04 @ HP Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $877.43 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-05-04 23:19 EDT-0400 I would like some rgb fans preferably (and a controller maybe, which I don't understand how it works), and would like to keep it around $900. I am purchasing in the US. Thanks, Coding
  2. Hi all! Could someone build me a pc? I would be using this computer to play Minecraft w/optifine and web & Java development. My budget should be preferably below or around $700. Not including OS. Processor: AMD Ryzen please! Mobo: I've had trouble finding a matx case that looks good, so if you can suggest a good case, I'm fine with matx Memory: 2x8gb DDR4-3200 Storage: I've got a 500gb SATA SSD at home, but I'm looking for a fast cheap m.2. Maybe P2? Video Card: at least one HDMI and one display port. Please no vga! All I need is one that can get good fps on Minecraft. Maybe the Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER 6 GB OC? Or something cheaper. Case: Please make it look good! Good airflow, comes with fans, maybe rgb fans? USB 3! Tempered glass. Power supply: I really don't know lol Thanks, Coding
  3. Hi All, I've spent hours contacting many different support forums and creating a nice build for gaming. Here's what I was looking for. A Minecraft (with optifine) gaming PC that can get me a decent amount of frames which also doubles as a coding PC for coding Java & Web Coding, so using IntelliJ and VSC, both ram hogging. I wanted a nice looking case, but I had to sacrifice my NZXT case for good airflow and microATX. I had a budget of $600 - $700, and after a lot of research, this is what I have so far. Please keep it within the $600-$700 range! (usd) Thanks so much for your help! Coding
  4. Hmm. I really liked the NZXT case tho. Is there a motherboard you know of that has ATX and bluetooth & wifi built in? Also the the 14nm come with a fan? And why that graphics card?
  5. Hi, i'm having a lot of trouble creating a build. I've asked in many places, and keep getting different answers that change my whole build. Here's what I'm looking for: I'm planning to build a PC for the first time. My budget is around the $600 - $700 range. I'm planning to play mc at HD 1080p with at most two monitors. Applications would be Visual Studio Code (being the most ram & cpu hungry cause it's based off of chrome). I might stream in the future, but I plan on replacing stuff in that case. I do want to be able to record (using OBS) without loosing too many frames so still keeping it at a high framerate. I will not be reusing parts. I would like to use a nzxt case, because I like the design. I have the monitor, keyboard, and mouse. Based in the US. Here was my first build idea I got from the ltt forum & NZXT community and stuff: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6CBLYH I was told in the pcpartpicker server that the NZXT cases have bad airflow, and that I shouldn't need the external wifi/bluetooth because some motherboards have it built in. Here's the list they gave me that modified mine: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/9CpDK4 They changed the mobo to a MicroATX, which was cheaper and had the wifi/bluetooth built in, and gave me a more expensive & better graphics card. I liked the build, but didn't like the design of the cooler master cases and how they used usb 2.0, and if I switched back to the old mobo, I wouldn't have a case with good airflow, and keeping the new graphics card would exceed my budget. I'm really stuck and not sure what to get or do, and my main priorities are a good and powerful enough computer to play mc with optifine during recording, and to be able to have a nice looking black (prefferably matte) case. (I'm also new to this so I don't really understand everything). Thanks for all of your assistance! Coding
  6. The wireless network adapter is not the final one, that was just a test.
  7. (I'm new to this so I hope i'm understanding you correctly) My motherboard is the MSI B450-A PRO MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard, which has two expansion card slots. I'm planning to use one for the graphics card, and one for bluetooth and wifi. I can't really think of anything else i'd need, and I'm trying to keep my PC around the $700 area. Here's the PC: PCPartPicker Part List Type Item Price CPU AMD Ryzen 5 1600 (12nm) 3.2 GHz 6-Core Processor $85.00 @ Amazon Motherboard MSI B450-A PRO MAX ATX AM4 Motherboard $99.99 @ B&H Memory Team T-FORCE VULCAN Z 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory $67.99 @ Newegg Storage Team L5 LITE 3D 480 GB 2.5" Solid State Drive $56.99 @ Newegg Video Card Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1650 SUPER 4 GB OC Video Card $159.99 @ B&H Case NZXT H510 ATX Mid Tower Case $69.98 @ Amazon Power Supply Corsair CX (2017) 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply $62.98 @ Newegg Wireless Network Adapter Gigabyte GC-WB867D-I PCIe x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Adapter $42.90 @ Amazon Prices include shipping, taxes, rebates, and discounts Total $645.82 Generated by PCPartPicker 2020-04-16 12:00 EDT-0400
  8. Ok, so should I get an expansion card with an external antenna, or a USB adapter?
  9. Should I just get a USB bluetooth/wifi adapter instead?
  10. Hi All! I was wondering if anyone knew of a good bluetooth/wifi expansion card that is internal, so that the antenna would be on the inside of the computer (like one of those plastic ones). I'm looking for a budget one, so under $75. Thanks, Coding
  11. After doing a little bit of research I had a few questions: How would I add Bluetooth/wifi (non Ethernet) to the computer? If it's not worth it, what motherboard comes with it that wouldn't add to much to my budget? What wires do I need? Or does everything come with them already? Is 16 GB of RAM enough for running Visual Studio Code and Minecraft? Is my processor powerful enough for Minecraft? What does the motherboard come with? What do I need? Thanks, Coding
