  1. did that and suprisingly it still doesnt work. the only thing i can think of is theres some hidden explorer.exe thats overlapping mine
  2. I ended my explorer.exe process cause my pc was being laggy, tryed to re-process it, but i checked "give administrator priviledges" and it didnt work. I then turned off my pc off which i had to switch-a-roo my ram sticks and then it booted me into safe mode. But now, When I try to use the search bar on the bottom left, it loads and then dissapears instantly. I also cant use any commands using the windows key, from run command to screenshot
  3. I just started building my PC over the past few days and have tried everything I can think of to get this thing to work.

    • Windows 10
    • Ryzen 3600 (New)*
    • ASUS RTX 2060 (New)*
    • MotherBoard - Asus TUF X-570 Plus (WIFI) (New)
    • Corsair RMx 550w 80+ Gold Fully Modular (New)
    • 2x 8GB 3200MHz RAM
    • Cruicial m.2 drive (New)

(In the ASUS TUF Board) So my problem right now is that I short the two pins to start the computer, and all the fans work for a second. Then, the fans stop working on my GPU and PSU. The CPU fan still goes and is working. However, when I turn it on it goes into bios for a little bit, but after around 30 seconds it just turns off the system. I bought a new psu because I thought I got a faulty psu. But the same thing is happening as before where it will turn on but then just stop spinning and then turn off. Can someone help me out with this? This is my first time building.

im not to good with that kind of thing, im sorry. you might want to post this in another sub, and not my profile.

  4. I have an RTX 2070 and a Ryzen 5 3600, and my power supply is 650w. It’s definitely going to hold up, but if it’s 11 years old I definitely recommend you might want to buy a new one. Power supply’s are only supposed to live up to 5-10 years
  5. When I bought my gpu I didn’t realize it was going to be this huge. It almost touches my intake fan. I had some temp issues at the start but they’ve gone away. (Not gpu but cpu) I’ve had it for about a month now, but I was just wondering if this is bad for my pc in anyway Also, the wires that power my gpu, (the ones in front) made it kind of hard for me to put on the front of the case, so I kind of had to squish them inside case: fractal design meshify c gpu: MSi RTX 2070 cpu: ryzen 5 3600
  6. I usually push above 100fps on big games like mw, and above 144fps on any other game. So should I use gsync? cpu: Ryzen 5 3600 gpu: RTX 2070 ram: 32gb motherboard: ROG STRIX B550 f WiFi
  7. so i just have to put the hdmi port in my main display and not the gpu?
  8. Im trying to set up a 2nd display, (aka my laptop) so i plugged an hdmi cable into my hdmi port on my laptop, then into my rtx 2070 (my main monitor uses display port) and nothing happens! idk why i even go to settings and press detect display and nothing happens. a bit stuck here. can anyone help?
  9. pc works good! ty so much for helping me!!!!
  10. I’m going to try to turn it on. Once again, I’ve had 2 fans blowing on it for about 3 1/2 minutes now, and once again, it’s not like I spilled a gallon of water on it. It was merely sprinkle. I’ve dried off every part I could find too.
  11. That stain actually was droplets of juice. The reason it created that weird stain was because I was trying to soak it up with a q-tip. But still, i think it’s going to be good. Ty for the advice!!!!!
  12. Thank you so much. I forgot to send them, sorry. Here they are.
