  2. Gambled a bit and picked a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Elite AC used one from amazon warehouse deals for $250.
  3. Already have the cpu, I went to memory express and thats the board I wanted but they didn't have it, I will probably order from amazon for the free shipping. Yes atx is what Im looking for.
  4. Budget (including currency): $300 Cad Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Gaming Memory express only had $350+ z490 mobos with built in wifi and he recommended buying a cheaper board and buy an wifi/bt adaptor. Need a mobo suggestion and a wifi adaptor to go with it. Also is a wd black sn750 at $180 a good buy?
  5. Budget (including currency): 1700 cad Country: canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: pc games Other details just the tower My young cousin asked me to help her build a tower for computer games, been a while since I Google parts and seen there is a lot of new cpus and gpus on the market. The monitor is 1080 and need suggestions on parts I can buy today and in stock. I want to build a pc with wifi in mobo, I don't think I need the super fast nvme drive but faster than a regular sata 5 ssd. Looking to get the best price for performance and she doesn't overclock. She be buying from Newegg or memory expresw. Thanks for the help.
  6. Found a gtx 980 with a detached heatsink on the cheap, and found out the screws from my gtx 1050 worked to attached it back together, but now I want to sell my 1050 to buy a used xbox one controller since it crapped out. Where in Canada can I buy these tiny screws?
  7. Budget (including currency): 1000 Canadian, just tower Country: Canada Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: games Other details: existing parts are 512 intel ssd, corsair ax1200, 16gb ddr3 2133mhz. Looking to game at 144hz and 1440p. Small budget as I spent a few grand moving cities. I will be buying from memory express since it's just convenient for me. I mainly play older games (hots, wow, css), pretty much no new games catch my interest.
  8. Im canadian and I will be buying all the components from memory express. Im building this for gaming at 1440p, 120fps. I really wanna build a system powerful enough to play metro exodus with rtx on. I want all the bells and whistle, dont care about rbg, and i dont want to pay over 2k. I have a 1200w psu that is overkill, whats a good wattage with all efficiency these days? Not really into overclocking so i dont really need a unlock cpu or a high end mobo but I do want wifi. Any suggestions for best price for performance components?
