  1. I did, I wrote that I ran a number of memory tests to basically rule out my storage components, as far as I know.
  2. (removed post, being confused about a HDD jumper slot was a red herring)
  3. I ran this exact test the other day, but to no avail.
  4. Hi, I'm a brand new user here but I don't want to come off like a help-desk forum tourist. If it wasn't for LTT I'm not sure how I would've ever got started on building my own PC. In the months running up to my build, I probably watched 100+ hours of LTT stuff and for anyone who can help me here, I want to offer my appreciation in advance. I built my PC a little over a month ago. From the jump, I've been faced with constant crashing while running games. Sometimes it takes 30 minutes, sometimes after a few hours--and sometimes I get a real big session in with no issues. I've experienced a handful of BSODs (of varying cause, and all during games) and a huge amount of soft crashes to desktop--again, only while running games. Here's a quick rundown per the sticky: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit Version 1909 OS Build 18363.720 (I did do a clean re-install of Windows early on after my initial installation, may try again today--engineer friend gave me an extra key he had, not a pirate version) All of my components were purchased in late February of this year Here is my build, hope I'm not doing something bad by linking to PCPP, just trying to make this post convenient PC runs cool, fans spin up, and I'm always monitoring temps in CPUID BIOS version 7C02v1D--updated from an earlier version my mobo had on it, issue existed prior to new BIOS I've uploaded the minidump files I still have from after my Windows re-installation LatencyMon is also reporting very high latency from both dxgkrnl.sys and storport.sys. Unsure if this a symptom of my issue or the cause. For the sake of not making this any more of a monster post than it already is, I'll leave out the report from LatencyMon for now but if someone wants to see it, I'll happily post it. I've done some pretty exhaustive troubleshooting, from using DDU to clean out old drivers and re-install the new driver, older drivers, and a special hotfix driver--fix didn't really apply to me but nonetheless. I've benched my GPU several times using Furmark and it performs like a champ. I've personally inspected and re-seated all of my connections on my mobo and have checked and reconnected components to my PSU three times. I've done a slew of comprehensive memory tests, and decided that it likely was not a storage issue after running MemTest yesterday (full run, four passes) with zero cumulative errors. I've also ran a complete Windows Memory Diagnostic, and some testing using CrystalDisk. As of yesterday I also tried using the other PCI slot to no avail. I also tested each stick of RAM by itself and the issue was still present either time. What I'm observing directly after soft crashes are 100% GPU spikes in performance monitor. Lastly I'll say that it does seem load-related, because I've never experienced a crash in very low-impact games. I'm starting to suspect a faulty PSU? But sure hope it's a software issue.
