  1. May I ask what version of corsair CX? And what exactly makes it better? I saw three main differences between EVGA 450 BR and the Corsair CX 450 on a comparing website showing that the EVGA 450 BR was better so I'm a bit confused.
  2. I will not be doing any overclocking. But I don't need a super high power processor as I won't be forcing too much on the processor not many programs open at once and none of the newer super high requirement games the highest one possibly being Fortnite. Alright I'll probably go for the 2600 though and do a little bit of work for easy money to get enough for a SSD so I can have the best of both worlds. In my family besides my Biological father I'm the tech savvy person so I could upgrade peoples computers for cheap if they pay enough for the parts or buy them. Or if I ever have some extra parts as I enjoy taking apart old computers which is what all of my family has really.
  3. It was $85 for the 1600 on amazon vs $99 for the 2600X on micro center so I wasn't very sure. I'll probably wait to get an SSD then put one in later on. But would the SSD be better to run with the windows update or the games? I heard keeping separate drives for each would help more than having it all on one drive.
  4. Ok cool. I'll look into it and try to find out what motherboards he has that I could have. But is that the only processor that would be better without getting too expensive? And I could probably search in many different websites about what I can do to get the cheapest deals to probably get a cheaper cost and possibly get an SSD. Thank you for the suggestions. I seen this processor which was pretty cheaper than most of the others (I've been using mainly micro center as my main source for costs) with the same cores and same threads as the one you mentioned. AMD Ryzen 5 2600X.
  5. I was told the processor could be better which I believe but I've been watching a lot of videos about cheap builds so this one is somewhat based on one of the builds but there wasn't any of the specific Graphic cards or the processor in the videos.
  6. Hey, I'm looking into building a gaming pc for a few games mainly heavily modded Minecraft and Skyrim. I would also be playing some Fortnite on it. I have a really low budget of 500 USD as I'm the East Coast of the US. I have a parts that I will be using already such as two hard drives. I am also hopefully getting a motherboard from my biological father. So that will bring up a little more room into the budget. I am going for at least 16 GB but I'm unsure of what processor to use and what graphics card I should get. I will be running the PC on a flat-screen TV that I already have. I don't have any other monitors to use so it will only be that monitor. I have a list of parts that I might want to use which brings my total to 416. But I don't know if I should go for a different piece of hardware or to keep it where I'm at.
