Yesterday I got some parts pc for free. (Motherboard, cpu, ram)
PC SPEC:
Motherboard: GA-MA790GPT-UD3H
CPU: QuadCore AMD Phenom II X4 945 (3GHz)
RAM: 2GB Corsair Dominator CM3X2G1866C9D (2pcs)
2GB Micron 16JTF25664AZ-1G4F1 (2pcs)
GPU: GTX570 ASUS (1280mb)
PSU: 600W OCZ TECHNOLOGY OCZ600SXS
SSD: PATRIOT 128GB (sata)
Yes I know, nothing good :) but I am an enthusiast I can't throw to trash can.
I will definitely find where to use it :D
My question:
1)Can I upgrade CPU to FX-4130?
Seller says that this CPU compatible to this motherboard, but it is AM3+, not AM3. How to understand it?
2)If this CPU(FX-4130) will work normally, how much should be MHz? 1866mhz?
(I will buy 4Gb x 4pcs)
