  1. Hey guys, so awhile ago I got my new PC. It's running fine and everything, but the older Alienware I had the GPU died. I have an old 950 2GB that I installed into the X51 R2. But upon turning it on, it won't boot. I've read that the 960 works fine but the PC won't boot with my 950. Psu is 330W and I've saw that it should still be fine. I should mention it just turns on, fans dont spin and I see the Alienware light for the power button. Any ideas ?
  2. That's what I've been seeing, even the non sapphire nitro+ card was doing worlds better than I am, im gonna stress test some more games tonight, see if FPS is maybe just crap in this one game. Unsure.
  3. This is what CPU-Z shows on both sticks, and A-XMP is enabled on my MSI motherboard. Did I do this right?
  4. XMP is that the ram overclocking stuff to the mhz it's rated at? and latest bios, ill have to check. temps seem Fine I think,
  5. I did have a card in the system until this one arrived, I think I did DDU properly.
  6. Hey guys, so I got this card as part of my build I recently did, and IM noticing low FPS in games that I was playing before with my old 1050ti, and 4770 Alienware. With that old build I was getting 30-50FPS with Rust, and with this new 3600 Ryzen 5, 32GB 3200mhz ram and the card listed in title, IM getting 30-50 still and it's stuttering. Any ideas?
  7. Ended up getting some of the Corsair RGB fans and right now the PC is looking mint! Thank you for the reply, i'm keeping this info for the future
  8. Hey everyone, I just received everything for the new build except the GPU (Tomorrow) and I got it up and running. But now I want to know the suggestions for the RGB Fans and Strips I want to add. This is the case I'm using "https://www.corsair.com/ca/en/Categories/Products/Cases/Mid-Tower-ATX-Cases/Carbide-Series-175R-RGB-Tempered-Glass-Mid-Tower-ATX-Gaming-Case-%E2%80%94-Black/p/CC-9011171-WW" and the motherboard I am using is the "MSI X470 Gaming Plus Max" I would love some recommendations for RGB Strips and fans. Thanks :)
  9. Perfect added the gaming plus max, thank you!
  10. So not overly worse, now to figure out what what I need. I think this one? amazon.ca/MSI-Performance-Onboard-Graphics-Motherboard/dp/B07Y468HV3/ref=sr_1_4?keywords=MSI+B450+TOMAHAWK+MAX+ATX+AM4+Motherboard&qid=1588426459&sr=8-4
  11. Was looking at the Gaming Plus Max, still a good mobo?
  12. Hey guys! So the motherboard I wanted to buy, went out of stock, and I was planning on ordering my parts right now... Any ideas for a similar Good motherboard that's not too much more than this, I wanna be able to use the m.2 SSD I ordered and any other features you think I need for my R5 3600/RX5700 XT DDR 4 build. This was the initial motherboard idea https://www.bestbuy.ca/en-ca/product/msi-b450-tomahawk-max-atx-am4-motherboard/14325085?irclickid=XPDwiuUZaxyOWd70MdV3iVCmUkizX0S9rSsq3Y0&ref=affiliate&utm_content=79301&utm_source=IR&acmp=PCPartPicker&utm_term=641751&irgwc=1
  13. So in the future I can upgrade to the 4000 series, fabulous 3600 it is! Thanks All!!
  14. Wicked! Thanks guys, I don't plan on a lot of 1440p, that would be more so to just see how it performs. I originally was going for the 3700x, but seeing the videos and these comments makes me aware, i'll be fine coming from my 4790 and 1050 ti Haha
  15. So I've been looking around and seeing that the overall gaming performance for 1080, and 1440p isn't Massive between the 3600 and the 3700x. I don't play an insane amount of games that are insanely intensive, currently my most intensive addiction has to be ARK: Survival Evolved. For the 130 ish dollars in savings, would this CPU still be fine to game and stream at 1080P? I'll be using 32GB of dd4-3200 ram and a RX5700 XT Sapphire Nitro+
  16. Thank you all!! Gonna go the 5700XT route since I'm not doing 1440P right now
  17. I don't feel the need for 1440p, not to mention im being cheap and using the current monitors I have which are 1080P. Plus I want to be doing some streaming in 1080p as well. would the XT still be fine for that?
  18. Just looked at the 5700XT, hearing with it's updates it's rivaled the 2070 super. Should I stick with Nvidia or grab the 5700XT?
  19. Thank you, you're not wrong, as games evolve the system I have is a little dated. I'm glad to know the 2070 super is a good card. I've always been an intel boy but everyone is telling me for streaming/gaming that the 3700x is gonna be great.
  20. Thanks! What's your suggestion on the ram? I do want RGB but I can manage without it. And in regards to the OC super, do you have a link for a cheaper one? I'm down for saving money. This is my first hand built. Currently using a 6 year old Alienware x51 R2, which works but its slowly dying
  21. Hey there, new to LTT forums but avid watcher of the channel. I've been looking into building a new RIG for both gaming and streaming, and I decided on AMD. Is this an okay build or should I be changing a few things up.
