  1. That 2060 is a great 1080p gaming card. Defintely your CPU is holding you back and it is a big time bottleneck. The clock speed is horrible... Your 2060 is not happy
  2. Sweet man. Uncle Billy blows goat man. The task man is cool but of course this is typical MS for you. Your set, F taskman for clock speed and wrong memory readings.
  3. Don't even bother my friend. SLI is dead and nVidia knows it. It will do more harm then good and be a complete waste of money. Trust me don't bother, just save up and sell your card and get a 1060 or AMD equivlant.
  4. Yes I agree, but also it just might be the PSU as well. Also try a different PCIe slot and let us know.
  5. Oh oops sorry for saying something you already tried. This leaves the video card as the culprit at this point IMO. Can you try a different PCIe slot and let us know.
  6. Try Aida64 and look at the CPUID. Task Manager is nice thing but it gives false info, like cpu usage etc. Or you can try CPU-Z and let us know.
  7. I would clean off the paste from the HS block and the CPU, cleaning it with alcohol. Then apply paste not too much just a dab in the middle so it can spread. No reason to take out the CPU when doing this. I feel your cooling solution might be botched but I can be wrong. Let us know when your re apply paste and put on the block. You could take out the CPU and check for bent pins and what not.
  8. Pleasure to help you sort this out. Try this... Only put in video card and a stick of RAM. Also there could be a contact problem with CPU and HS and let us know.
  9. I have never heard of Gigatron, steer clear of that. Get the ASUS one. If you do photo editing + want to game then the ASUS IPS will be a good choice.
  10. That is good news.. The motherboard is not dead so long as you don't see red light or a bad error code on the mobo. We want to negate the mobo as the culprit due to green light on and no red lights or bad error code as I said earlier. Does the system even turn on for like a second or couple seconds then shut down; from what you said Im assuming it doesnt even turn on or fans don't spin. IMO it has to be the PSU or the video card. Also try one stick of RAM and see if that helps. Let us know!
  11. The Sennheiser give a flat response. The bass won't be boomy and mids and highs not exaggerated tweaked sound. For gaming as rice guru said it will be stereo and its good for gaming, but if you want to use for gaming as well your better off getting a USB 7.1 headset with mic built in. Unless your in a studio.
  12. Can you check on the motherboard if there are any red lights. The red light will show if your cpu is jacked or if its the RAM. I doubt your CPU is bunked out. This happens when you get a motherboard from over 8 years old. If you don't get any red lights then thats a starting point for us to help you.
