    Hey guys, my family recently did a remodel of our basement and I got some of the old Boston speakers that we use to use in our surround sound set up (more specifically the front left and right speakers). I have brought them to my college dorm in the hopes of setting them up with my current set up which consists of a Vinyl record player, gaming laptop, and tv. I had an old small Pyle amp but it broke and could never get the speakers really loud enough to comfortable watch shows and listen to records on.     Hey guys, I've been in the market to get a 4K TV for my dorm room for a minute now. My local best buy has deals on these two TVs right here. I'd use it to play games on my PS5 and occasionally my friends Xbox series X. I also have a gaming laptop capable of playing games in 4K, and I stream videos, shows, and movies a lot. I have a Fire TV 4K that I've been using so I'm not too concerned about what the OS will be. I'm also not concerned about sound as I took my old basement speakers with me to college. The dresser I'm going to put on isn't the biggest so I can't go any larger than 43". I have no clue what to look for in a TV and this would be my first time ever buying one, so I'd also appreciate suggestions if you think these aren't any good for what I need.     Hey guys, so in the past I've been very into building and fixing desktop pcs, but I've never owned a laptop in my life. I'm going off to college and need a laptop to work on and Run Cad software while it also hopefully being able to do some light gaming. I've had bad experiences with manufacturers like Dell in the past so I don't know what brands I should be looking for. I would preferably be looking for a laptop for around $1,000 to $1,300 usd and would prefer if possible nvidia graphics (cause thats what i'm used to on desktop). Send me any recommendations if you have any, they'd be greatly appreciated.

    yea like I said before i got it from Microsoft themselves and after I got stuck in that automatic repair loop, I had to do a fresh install which caused a bunch of problems for some reason

    Hey guys so recently I had my pc blue screen and it made me have to do a clean installation of windows. For some reason after this I cannot change my time zone. It is permanently stuck to pacific time, making my time off from my actual time zone. I've gone into date and time in the additional time settings, but it keeps prompting me with a pop up that says I don't have permission to change this even though I am the administrator for the computer. How do I fix this?

    Hey guys so I had my pc running when I was away from my house and came back to my motherboards boot screen and a message that said « preparing automatic repair « and the leading me to a blue screen where it asks me to continue, troubleshoot, or turn off the pc. I’ve tried some of the trouble shooting options but everything apparently failed. What happened and is there any way I can fix it without resetting my pc? My actual pc appears to be the same as a left it. I have no idea how this happened since I wasn’t home. Anyone know?

    What headset do you use. i think its mainly a Windows Mixed Reality thing because many other G2 users seem to be reporting the same thing

    Hey guys so around a month and a half ago I upgraded to windows 11 and have had zero problems and actually liked it until now. Earlier this week I received the HP Reverb G2 and was excited to use it until I ran into issues with steam VR. It was crashing at almost every game and the games that loaded had bad performance. This is after me changing some of the settings and runni8ng them on a PC that has an RTX 3070 FE and a 5600x as well as a NVMe SSD and ample cooling. After consulting the HP Reverb G2 subreddit, it sounds like Steam VR isn't compatible with Windows 11 at the moment and my best course of action is to try to go back to Windows 10. I was wondering what the best and easiest way of doing this is without loosing all of my files. I've never done something like this before and I'm terrified that I might loose some of my game progress, recordings, mods, or ending up having to reinstall every game I have on my P.C right now (a lot) all over again. I'd really appreciate any advice or guidance for this cause I really don't want to screw this up and mess up my P.C.

    So I just recived the HP Reverb G2 today and set it up and it worked perfectly... in the windows home environment. When I tried to launch beat saber, HL: A, and B & S, they all froze, and then boot me back to the Windows home. Games like MSF and Tetris Effect work just fine since they6 seem to not require steam vr to run but so far everything that's on steam vr I can' play. Does anyone know what's wrong and how I can fix it. I already updated my GPU driver and updated by BIOS for windows 11 but it still wouldn't work correctly.     My fans have been making a quiet but annoying screeching sound for the past month or so. I don't know where in the P.C. its coming from but it gets really annoying when it is quiet in my room. When there is sound you can't really hear it so its not the end of the world if it can't be fixed. The video was too large so I just linked the file in my google drive for anyone who wants to listen too it.     I was more wondering if like a z470/z490 or even a newer board could work. Its not meant for THE BEST performance since I have my main in my room. This is more a mini ITX for the basement. I just want an affordable mobo that fits in the case. Also my PC part picker is off private sry about that

    Hey guys so recently I upgraded my gaming pc to an AMD 5600x and a RTX 3070. I have an old Alienware Pre-built that I want to take the Core i7 8700 and GTX 1660 super out of and do a small form factor build for my basement. Problem is that I have no knowledge about Intel motherboards and processors as my research for my current main build was really only AMD focused. What do you guys think the best ITX mobo for the 8700 would be. I really only wanna spend between $150-$250 for the mobo so I'm not asking for any top of the line stuff.     Hey guys, I recently built my first pc and moved on from my old Alienware prebuilt. I have since put it up on eBay for local pick up but got no response. I want to expand my reach to the whole of North America. What I want to know is what shipping materials should I use and where can I purchase them (online or in-person).     Hey guys, I'm looking for a VESA mount so I can mount my new LG 27GL83A and my original monitor the LG 29UM67P. I want to mount the 29UM67P vertically as I don' have the space to put both monitors horizontally. I'll put the links to both of the monitors below if you need a picture of them.     Dang I already reseated my sticks a couple days ago, turned on my pc today and it was back to being luck this. Sucks because when it works, it looks fantastic.

    Hey guys I was wondering IF any of you know why only one stick of Ram is lit up. Its G Skill Trident Z 3600 16GB Ram and I'm using the Razer Synapse software and the Razer ARGB controller to control my setups RGB. I've had both light up before and both sticks are showing up. Is there anyway I can fix this?

    3070 is on par with a 2080ti. 1080 is still a great card but not good enough to rival a 2080ti. Plus they’re way overpriced for their age and performance in our current pc climate.

    That was awhile ago. I’m more looking for forward compatibility with newer, more intensive games. My brothers 1070 was chugging in HL:A and Stormlands. I can’t even run Medal of Honor and Asgard’s Wrath. Games are going to become bigger and bolder in vr and looking ahead I think the 3070 will be a good starting point for me personally.
