  4. Hello, so recently while playing a game i noticed my CPU is bottlenecking my system (Ryzen 7 1700) It is permanently staying on 3,2 GHz all core boost so my thought: will it reach a better all core boost if i diable SMT ? i dont realy need 16 Threads because games (mostly) can only use 8 C/T on max do you got any experience for this ? Thank You! (sorry for my bad english)
  5. my motherboard doesnt support VRAM tempratur messuring so i pointet a chassi fan directly on it now my 3,9 GHz are stable no throtteling but shoudnt the VRAM be able to got up to 100° ? for my feeling it felt like around 70° maybe 80° when i touched it

  7. Hello, my overclocked i5 750 cant handle 3,9 GHz permanently (H55 Mainboard) after 2 Minutes of Stressing with CPU-Z it is downclocking to 1.65 GHz then 5 minutes later its back at 3,9GHz for arround 1 Minute C1E and C States are disabled I ve tried another Core Clock (3,6) but same here but the normal stock speed is permanently stable on 2,67 GHz Thermal max at 3,9GHz: 69°C i dont have an idea why its not working do you got any advices ? Thanks (sorry for my bad english)
  8. Hello, first, sorry for my bad english. Im trying to push my i5 750 to 4Ghz Im using: Asus P7H55 M Motherboard Arctic Freezer 13 Pro GTX660 8GB 1600MHz RAM 460W Power Supply Its now stable on 3,887Ghz BaseClock 185 Mhz 21 Multi 1.3 vCore 1.2375 vIMC 1.5 DRAM Temps are now max 70° So for 4GHz i tried following settings i also tryed to rise the vCore in little steps to 1.35 Baseclock 191MHz 21 Multi 1.325 vCore 1.275 vIMC 1.5 DRAM Max Temps were 76° After 30min off bench windows crashed with an bluescreen I dont know why i coudnt get the 4GHz? Do you ve any ideas why ? (C1Eis disabled)
  9. Update: The cooler came today, so i started overclocking. my target the 3,3 Ghz were easy to reach. Thermals : 45° idl 79° Bench so i think this is thermal wise the most i can get .
  10. Hello, First, sorry for my bad english. Recently I found an old Mainboard (Asus P7h55m) with an i5 750 (without an cooler) . So I ordered the "Xilence i402" for round about 14$. It should be able to handle 130W. I will use the Thermal Grizzly Kryonaut for max. thermal conduction. My target ist is at least 3,3 Ghz. But 3,7 would be better ^^. I've never overclocked an CPU So my question : Is it possible with this MB (chipset) and the CPU cooler? Thank you for your advices. (460w LCpower power supply)
