  1. Already have an i5 5th gen Unfortunately the GTX 970 is not available, but it would be just 100€ . Will the rx 570/80 be compatible with my motherboard? MSI H97 PC Mate(MS-7850)
  2. So basically, to make it clear. My GPU wouldn't be able to refresh the 144hz of the monitor, right? I have no experience with overclocks. My PC is already 5 years old. If I could find a GTX 970 4GB for 100€ then it would round at the 300€. Btw, I've to install a SSD 2.5" Samsung 860 Evo 500GB MLC V-NAND SATASSD. Will that help with my fps? Thanks for all the help
  3. I actually play most of the time 4:3 1280x1024 (does it make a lot of difference in terms of fps)? I live in Portugal, but I thought (with my very limited research) that I would need to upgrade to a 970x in order to achieve the 144hz of refresh with a decent fps number (for me 150fps in game is enough). As you could probably see I'm probably mixing everything up in terms of fps, refresh rate... But I basically want to run CSGO on lower settings with a 144hz monitor that gives me the true feeling of a more fluid game. It's noticeable in CSGO that I'm seeing "frame jumps" instead of a more real and fluid movement. Hopefully I made myself somewhat more clear. Thanks for all the help btw.
  4. Even if I play 4:3 1280x960 in game with the lowest settings? I already use the best performance settings (NVIDIA settings and CS:GO settings) - low graphic detail and more fps, which is still sort of the standard in the CS:GO community I didn't want to spend more than 300€ but it might be an unrealistic budget for what I want to do, right?
  5. My main game is CS:GO. I currently have this setup: CPU: Intel Core i5 @ 3.20GHz MOTHERBOARD: MSI H97 PC Mate(MS-7850) GPU: 2047MB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 960 (MSI) MONITOR: ASUS VX248 (1280x1024@75Hz) I was considering buying the BenQ Zowie XL2411P monitor but upon some research I've discovered that my GPU will not be able to support the 144hz of the monitor (at least not fully). I was wondering what upgrade I need to do in terms of GPU to be able to have the full 144hz of the BenQ Zowie XL2411P monitor. I'm looking to upgrade only the GPU without changing my motherboard. Can you guys help me? Thanks in advance.
