  1. Update: I found a new battery and replaced the old one and i have not been able to make the pc boot since. No image whatever i try
  2. I have none on hand, the only other one i have is in my main pc and im not sure if its a good idea to remove it. Anything else i can try for now?
  3. Okay so, i reseted the bios by removing the battery for a few mins and once i turned it on i got to this screen: If i select run setup, it gets me into the bios but as soon as i leave, it doesnt boot again unless i remove the battery again. If i press F2 to continue, i get into my OS but again, as soon as the pc turns off, its not coming back on. Also, i couldnt find any debugging indicators, my motherboard is the msi 970A-G43. It's also worth noting that most of the times the gpu fan didnt spin. Every time the pc booted the gpu fan was spinning but there were also times were the fan worked but i got no video. I had noticed this exact thing with other gpus on this pc which leads me to believe its something with the gpu controller on the mobo, not sure though, just a wild guess
  4. i can for sure say its not the gpu as ive tested multiple and none have worked, while they output video perfectly on other systems. I'll have a look on the motherboard for the debuging leds and post my results.
  5. Ive got an old am3+ system with an fx 6300, 8gb of ram and an old amd graphics card installed but it rarely boots, the components get power and the fans spin but no image on the monitor but im certain the gpu is working. After i swap dimm slots or reset the bios sometimes it boots once but then it doesnt until i repeat the process. Ive tried different ram, psu and storage drives but nothing seems to make it boot consistently so it must be cpu or mobo that need replacing but i have none on hand to test, which one of the 2 is it more likely to be the cause?
  6. Im using esun pla+ with the nozzle at 215C, ive been printing this material with these settings on my original ender 3 for a while now. I dont think its a clog since the printer is brand new. When i first assembled it i noticed the z lead screw coupler was a bit loose so i tightened it, could that still be the problem?
  7. The only thing i have "troubleshot" is making sure my filament is good, thats the only thing i can say for sure. The lines arent in the same z height but in seemingly random vertical positions. Not sure what you mean by straight edge.
  8. I recently got and ender 3 v2 and on almost every print ive done, im getting these weird horizontal lines and cant figure out the cause. Im running Jyer's firmware with manual mesh bed leveling and have calibrated my esteps, everything else is untouched. On my original ender 3 i never had any issue like this.
  9. I have a behringer uphoria um2 usb audio interface and thats where i plug in my xlr mic and audio jack headphones. Up until now everything was working fine till today when i cleaned my pc and in the process took the cpu out to clean it before putting it back in. Again, everything is fine except the sound. The card is recognized but whatever i do i can only get one form of data at a time, either only the mic will be working or only the output on the headphones. I tried reinstalling the drivers for the sound card but nothing has worked. Its worth noting that the sound card detects both devices since when the headphones are 'active' the direct monitoring of the mic still works so its probably a windows/driver issue
  10. I used artctic silver 5. And yes, my cpu cooler is pretty dusty
  11. Do you think i should invest in an aftermarket cooler? Im planning to change out my pc in a year so i will be able to use it for the new cpu when i get that.
  12. I've had my pc for a few years now with a ryzen 5 1600 and the stock wraith spire cooler. I remember from the very start idle was at around 40-45 and load at around 80. Since then i have changed the thermal paste once but that was more than 2 years ago. Now, i noticed hwinfo64(and other software) showing 60C or more idle and the cpu reached 90C within 2 minutes if aida64 stress testing. Something is clearly wrong here.
  13. Just to be clear, ive never used a monitor with a higher res than 1080p and refresh rate higher than 75hz, im currently using an lg 29 inch ultrawide 1080p 75hz
  14. I could go with the MSI Optix G273QF (1440p 165hz gsync) but it is a bit more expensive at 330 euros, do you think it is worth it?
  15. One last question, do you happen to have any experience with the LG 27UL500-W? It costs around 25 euros more than a decent 1440p monitor at 260 euros and its 4k
