  1. build: Windows 10 64-bit i7 8700k NVidia ASUS 2080 super mobo: maximus hero ram: corsair vengeance pro 2400 (i'm 90% sure) psu: evga 850w g3 2 1TB samsung ssd 1 1TB hdd seagate, or WD (can't remember right now) BIOS was updated about a month ago the Problem: everything was working fine....and has been working fine. I stream, record, edit with my computer (premiere pro) and StreamLabs OBS (SLOBS). I use NVENC for the bulk of my processing wherever I can. I was watching a youtube video, and updating SLOBS, and also opening a project I was working on in Premiere Pro (mind you this isn't anything out of the norm for my computer to handle. Then it does a weird power surge type of thing (i had thought a fuse blew) and then my computer shut off. all of my screens and everything else worked just fine so i was able to determine my surge protector was working. I pulled off the side of my case (Be Silent 900 case) and didn't smell any smoke or burning smell or anything. So i removed my psu, did a test with it to make sure it powered on. It did power on. plugged it into the case, and it powered on again just fine ( the be silent case has a passthrough dc plug......) so i plugged in the mobo and tried again.....nothing. i do get a werid slight staggered flickering....almost like lag on my mobo, and my gpu does light up. so it seems like not enough power is getting to the components, or my mobo is fried. the GPU is less than a month old. the rest of the rig was built in 2017. i'm leaning towards my mobo being dead.....but i just don't know where/how to begin diagnostics, and to test. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. TIA! -Edd
