So, I've recently just purchased the following brand new equipment and am suffering from a random issue whereby the BIOS locks up after 3 seconds.
New equipment:
MSI A320M-A Pro motherboard
Ryzen 5 2600 CPU
16gb 3000 Vengeance RAM
User equipment:
RX570 8Gb Sapphire Nitro+
So I think it's related to the graphics card as I tried my GTX 1050 in as a test and the BIOS works perfectly and no issues occur. Going back to the RX570 results in the freezes.
Windows looks to be working perfectly so far and I haven't had the chance to stress test as of yet but will update this later if I do experience any other issues.
Other things I have tried are updating the BIOS on the motherboard to the latest. I checked the BIOS on the graphics card and the latest unmodded BIOS is installed. I have tried the BIOS switches on the card itself to no avail. I also tried resetting the BIOS back to the defaults.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be super helpful?
