Hi guys. So yesterday I replaced thermal paste on my cpu and it all went fine. later in the day I started a COD Warzone game , an noticed my fps were not where they were before. Went from 100+ to 90 , and also 99% gpu usage where before I would be in the 80s because of my cpu bottleneck (i5 4670k) It was only today when I just tried to a different display port , that I also noticed the sound coming via dp or hdmi was all wrong and full of cracking . so I went and moved the graphics card to the 2nd PCIe port and the performance improved again, although it feels is not as good as before still. the mobo is an ASUS z87-a has anyone hear of this before. Anything I could try to get slot 1 back to normal ?

But, some of the best value Models of the RTX 2060 were sold out, so I started looking at AMD prices and now I am really lost.
