Hi, i am looking to change cases from an old bitfenix prodigy m. I have an mITX motherboard and an ATX PSU. Looking to upgrade my graphics card soon. I am gonna use a Noctua nhu12a air cooler. Noise is the most important thing to me. I am gonna use silent fans. Which of these two cases would be more silent? Any thoughts or opinions are appreciated.

Upgrading from a gtx 1070, which card should i get?

I currently have 1440p 165hz, but i am looking to upgrade to something more, the odyssey g9 or 4k 120hz or similar is my long term plan. However maxing out the 1440p screen on maximum settings is my current priority. Would be nice to be able to play newer games for a while. I have heard that people are skipping 40-series cards, but would waiting for a 7800xt/7700xt/4070 make any sense? i want to take my next upgrade seriously and not bottleneck my ram/raw performance. I agree that 8gb 3070 might be a bit too little, as the 1070 also has 8gb. I like to do 120% rendering in games and render a bit above my current resolution to make things sharper, especially in battlefront 2 or AC. Any thoughts and opinions on anything i said would be appreciated. I like taking my upgrades seriously and not spend too much or too little. Thanks for all of the replies guys. -

Around 600usd maximum, i bought my 1070 for around 469USD, so i am looking around that range though. Upper midrange card would be nice. -
I have an i9 9900k with 32gb of 3200mhz ram for context. 750w powersupply as well. Will dip my toes into 4k gaming. Which card is a decent upgrade?

Hi guys, Lately i have started to annoy myself over the high noise from my PC. I have a 240mm AIO, topmounted in a bitfenix prodigy m case. The case is inverted so the graphics card is just below the radiator as well. How can i make the i9 9900k more silent? I have a lot of suggestions for myself here. - I could buy new silent PWM fans. I was thinking about noctua nfa12 x 25, or arctic p12 (i have a white build so white stuff are appreciated.) - I could buy a bigger radiator, and install silent fans on that. (that means i would need to buy a new case as well since my prodigy m is smol.) - i could buy a new cpu, but that is on the expensive side, and i bought my i9 in 2019 so its not that long ago... - reapply thermal paste maybe? I have not applied it myself, its preapplied from corsair. Any thoughts? Specs: cooler: corsair platinum SE 240mm AIO with two ll120 pwm fans. in silent mode it is at 1500 rpm, idle is fine... it makes a lot of noise while ingame or at load. Then it reaches 2500rpm. CPU: Intel core i9 9900k aorus z390l pro wifi (mitx) 32gb corsair vengeance 3200mhz ram GTX 1070 Gigabyte Gaming (gonna upgrade this when the world has a supply of new graphics cards ) 750w Corsair rm750x white PSU 230mm bitfenix fan bottom white (intake) 140mm corsair ql140 white (intake) <--- (i understand if u are hating that i have intake from the rear mount... BUT! This is an inverted case so the rear mount is near the bottom of the case. All my intakes are filtered, so no dust is coming in. Also i am a bit of a sucker for positive airflow. My thought is that by having this as an exhaust it might just let out the cold air from the 230mm fan which is counterproductive... the hottest parts are in the top of the case anyway.) It is not a fun case to build in so i might upgrade to the be quiet silent base 802 that is coming soon. Any thoughts and ideas would be highly appreciated. Be gentle of me as this is a difficult case to build in (no sidepanels to hide the cables in and the reverse mounting of the motherboard.)

Hardcore overclocking probably wont be my focus. My case is small and airflow is rather limited. I just want to be safe since my potato is precious. Sounds like 550w is enough though, and thanks for the input.

oh no will it expleode But memes aside, i have a i9 9900k, 32gigs of ram and a gtx 1070. Is 550w enough for these parts? Isnt the i9 a hongry beast?

Hi all, i have a 7 year old PSU that is making weird noises in my build. I bought it in 2013 and it is a Cooler Master 80+ Bronze non modular PSU. I have a case that is a little wobbly, a bitfenix prodigy M. Sometimes if i lift it up and put it in another room, and boot it up, suddenly something in front of the case, i suspect the PSU, makes a loud growling noise. It sounds like a fan that goes around faster and faster, then it goes slower and slower, then faster and faster again. If i nudge the case the noise is affected, but doesnt stop. If i turn the pc on and off again, the growling starts again, but if i restart the pc after waiting a while (i have to do this repeatedly) it stops and it doesnt happen for maybe weeks. Any fix for this? I have been looking to upgrade my PSU also, and is the corsair rm 750x white a good choice?

I just love small builds. I am travelling now and then and i bought my m-itx motherboard with that in mind. I have seen that there are multiple small cases that supports 240mm rads, so i should probably go for those i guess... In Win A1 is cool but it doesnt support 240mm sadly.
