  1. So I recently bought a graphics card, a ZOTAC GTX 1650 super to upgrade form my GTX 750ti. I installed it to my pc and experienced weird issues: - I tried to play Apex Legends, and when I change my graphics settings, the screen would go black and my monitor would go into power saving mode. Sometimes I would hear a device disconnect sound (the same as if you were to unplug a usb device); it reverts itself back to original settings thanks to the game. - I started Forza Horizon 4 and seemed to work fine until the starting loading screen, where the same thing above would happen but worse, as I cant revert back and it forces me to restart by flipping my power supply's switch. - Minecraft seemed to work fine. If I leave the game the black screen would happen for a second but it goes back to normal by itself. - Playing osu! was OK but there was stuttering here and there. TL;DR: My monitor blacks out and goes into power saving mode only when I play graphically intensive games. Running google chrome, non-game, and light titles work just fine. My GPU temperature was fine, it was at ~35 degrees Celsius. Only one little thing on my end is that i'm using a DVI-D to VGA adapter hooking my computer to my monitor. But I highly doubt that'd be the problem since the adapter is new and it works fine (for the most part). I tried: - Reinstalling drivers - no difference - Installing an older driver - cant install at all for some reason - Checking for dust and reseating the card into its PCI slot - no difference Im starting to think its a GPU problem, but i'm trying to keep some hope and attempt to fix it. Can anyone help me? Any would be appriciated. Thanks!
  2. Also, just a quick little thing, does this pricing on a rx 580 seem too good to be true? https://www.newegg.ca/msi-radeon-rx-580-rx-580-armor-4g/p/N82E16814137229?Item=N82E16814137229
  3. I probably should've mentioned that what I said were in canadian dollars. My mistake.
  4. I just need help to decide on what graphics card to buy for upgrading my pc. My old GTX 750 Ti isn't that great in 2020, unfortunately. I found 2 graphics cards that fit my budget of $100 - $250, an RX 570 on sale for approx. $150 and a GTX 1650 super for approx. $210 ish. On paper the 1650 super is faster than the RX 570 but people say the RX 570 has a great price to performance. But id like something that i can keep for maybe 2+ years. I would consider the 1650 but others say that its more worth to pay extra for the super variant. Im not a master techie, so any opinions on this? I would appreciate it. (Btw. the main game i'd play during this time is probably apex legends cause its the only shooter I like.)
