  1. On most Asus rog motherboards you don't need to worry about it. You can update the bios with only a usb drive. You don't even need a cpu if you use that.
  2. You can try and use msi afterburner and do a slight overclock it also helps me.
  3. If you could tell me how to check if my os is corrupt that would help.
  4. I reset my bios. My os may be corrupt since I was turning my pc off from the psu when I was fixing my pc.
  5. Hello, I fixed my pc today a loaded up a game. But then everything felt slow. I use intel burn test and my phone to measure the difference. 26 seconds pc time 44 seconds real time. Any ideas? CPU: ryzen 3 1200 mobo: gigabyte b450m ds3h bios version f50 2x4 GB ddr4 2133 rx 570 8gb 240gb ssd and 1tb hdd 500w bronze psu.
  6. It works now. Thanks for trying to help though!
  7. I could attach it. Thanks for the idea!
  8. Hello, today I was just updating my bios on a old mobo for a new build. I put in a rim stick and my cpu and when I started it up, something let out the blue smoke. It seemed to blow the bios and something else. I pulled the plug on my psu within a second or two but I think it sent wallpower through my mobo. So I put my cpu back in my pc but it didn't output to my display. I could be my monitor being wierd but I don't think it is. Could it of blown my cpu/ram or would protection circuitry blow before it reaches my cpu? Also troubleshooting tips would be helpful. Any help is appreciated! Ps my fans spin and rgb works.
