  1. Thx alot for the replies guys. Guess I'll hold on the upgrading the GPU until the new gen comes out then. About the monitor tho, since my current setup can yield near 100 fps on some of the games I play frequently, is it worth it jumping the gun on upgrading it right now? I'm asking more along the lines of value really, meaning if there isn't much of a near release to bump down the prices on some of the mid to high tier units. I've been looking into the larger units, at around 32" but not really sure how to get the most out of my money and future proof myself. Thx again in advance for the advice
  2. Hey! I've been rocking a pre-built PC for the last 2 years, with good results. By that I mean its allowed me to game confortably @1080p somewhere between 60 and 100 fps depending on the game and settings. This is my current config: Motherboard: MSI Z-370-a Pro GPU: Geforce gtx 1070ti 8Gb DDR5 CPU: Intel i7-8700k @3,7GHz RAM: 16Gb (2x8Gb DDR4-2400Mhz) PSU: Seasonic Si2 620W 80 Plus Bronze CPU Cooler: Cooler Master ML120L Monitor: Asus 27" VP278h @75Hz Storage: M.2 Western Digital Blue SN550 1TB Taking this config into account, what I'm aiming to do is upgrade for 1440p @144HZ gameplay, which is pretty much all this rig is for, with watching the ocasional series or movie on it. With a 1000$ budget and taking into account that I also want to upgrade my monitor with those funds, what would you guys suggest? Thanks for the advice in advance :D
