  1. After an Exhausting amount of research into AIO coolers for the AMD TR 3970x... Im at a loss for words. So many adapters... Bad reviews.. And B.S. to sift through... Im hoping to find some ideas here... Or even SERIOUS guidance on a custom cooling loop as this is my first one using off the shelf hardware and i just do NOT know whats out there. So, What Am I trying to do? And Why a TR 3970x CPU? Currently I run a gaming community for around 1500 members. Our main server (Running a game called Empyrion) Houses dual Xeon E5-2690 Version 2 CPU's. On passmark it benches around 22K ish. We have outgrown this server... Intel doesnt offer anything "Affordable" or with the performance we need. After a lot of "mulling over crap options" the threadripper just makes sense. It has the core count, Single Thread Performance, and meets our "Under 5000$" budget since no GPU heavy lifting will ever get done and we dont see a need of more than 256gb ram EVER. And yes this game is THAT cpu intensive server side. Sadly even used intel options don't seem to perform as well as this single Processor Threadripper, and are usually double if not more cost wise. Its almost silly lol. What im finding out is that there are not a lot of products on the market tailored towards these new chips (If Any). And what i do find.... Sounds sketchy at best. Im planning on housing this in a rackmount case, 4U, thats VERY moddable I intend on doing liquid cooling if its affordable. I have ZERO idea where to go next with these things... And im just looking for experienced suggestions. I dont mind a little work I just dont want to waste efforts and a crap ton of time experimenting If that can be avoided... It gets costly... Thank you to anyone reading this and i appreciate your helpful input
