    Thanks to all that have replied. I have decided to upgrade to a Ryzen 5 3600X and upgrade my RAM to 16GB 3200MHz for the same price. This was always a budget build anyway. My mobo is an ASUS ROG Strix B350-f GAMING, btw. Thank you all

    My current PC is dated and is still using a Ryzen 3 1300X with 2666MHz RAM. If i upgrade to a Ryzen 7 3700X, will it run with my current RAM? I know that the CPU says 3200MHz RAM, which I can't afford right now. Can I run that CPU with my current RAM speed until I can save to buy 32GB of 3200? Any help or advice would be really helpful. I haven't built or upgraded a PC solo in a LONG time.
