  1. I'm not actually using the EGPU, it's from my 2016 RBS stealth setup. I mentioned it to only confirm that the port is TB. This is my primary gaming PC and I plan on streaming from it. I simply have a lot of devices to hook up, most of them power hungry. Here's a short list of things: RBG lit keyboard Keyboard USB port passthrough RBG lit mouse Wired Controller (Needed for arcade fightstick) Wireless Controller Dongle USB Capture Card Racing Wheel Racing Pedals and Shifter USB Mixer for Microphone USB DAC Stream Deck Webcam with Ringlight External Hard Drive Non-wireless printer I have a lot of devices I want to have plugged in and they're all pretty power hungry, plus I'm worried about issues with so many devices plugged in going through a HUB. I currently use USBC/TB3 for display port for my 4k monitor and the laptop has a built in ethernet with a build in 2070 graphics card, so it runs pretty solid for the games I play.
  2. I think now is the time for retro gaming to shine. There's tons and tons of classic games that never stopped being good and play well on old systems/low spec systems like yours. I was planning on building a new computer this year myself, but with the COVID-19 stuff going on and the prices getting jacked up I've decided to built a "retro" PC instead based on hardware and clones of hardware from the 1990s to play games like Half-Life, Quake, Monkey Island, Descent, Warcraft and a ton of other older games with as little DOS emulation as possible.
  3. I've got a Dell G15 something or other from last year. It's got three USB type A ports and a single USB-C/Thunderbolt (Confirmed to be thunderbolt, it works with my external GPU). I would like to expand this to let me plug in multiple, power hungry USB devices including an RGB keyboard, RGB Mouse, a wired controller, stream deck, a webcam with a built in ring light and a ton more. I'd like something that can deliver the power I need to my devices with as many ports as possible. I should have upgraded to a normal gaming PC this year, but financial issues with the COVID-19 virus mean I'm going to have to make do with this system for a while. edit: Also hello, longtime viewer and first time poster in the forums.
