  1. Hi all, Just shopping for some GPUs here, trying to get the most bang for my buck! I noticed this though. GPU 1: $620 Chipset GeForce RTX 2080 Memory 8 GB Memory Type GDDR6 Core Clock 1515 MHz Boost Clock 1860 MHz Effective Memory Clock 7000 MHz GPU 2: $800 Chipset GeForce RTX 2080 Memory 8 GB Memory Type GDDR6 Core Clock 1515 MHz Boost Clock 1815 MHz Effective Memory Clock 14000 MHz They both have GDDR6, so I thought you multiply the boost clock speed by however many "pumps" the memory can provide, which is 4 in this case. So it seems like the clock speeds should be identical, but one of them is double over the other (1815 * 4 = 7,260) & (1860 * 4 = 7,440) Any logical reason why this is the case? Am I missing something very important?
