  1. I believe it is a DNS issue due to the error it gives me in reference to DNS issue. When I go to reconnect or if I do the "fix issue" its a DNS issue. I do not have abnormal ping, between 68 and 75 normally. I just checked it and it was between there. I don't think its packet loss, never dealt with that. But, to answer the main question, I have continued to get the DNS server error message. If I get the error Ill post the photo.
  2. All, I have scoured the webs and I cannot find this answer. For background, I am not a tech person per say. What I do know comes from Youtube videos or quick internet searches. However, I have not been able to specifically find this answer. So, the issue: While on any web browser such as Chrome and Firefox, my DNS server continues to have issues. My internet continues to cut out. I am currently running a wireless connection (WiFi) to my desktop. My router is within 15' but on a different floor of the house. (Hence making it a problem for me to run a hardwire.) My desktop runs games like World of Warcraft and COD-MW without dropping internet or having DNS issues (as often). If I'm on longer than several hours, Ill have a DNS server issue or internet drop while playing games. For instance, when I use Chrome, I will have a DNS drop within 2-3 minutes. Ill have to wait and re-connect. This will happen generally when something is loading or upon clicking something to open a tab or loading a video or sending an email. Here is the weird part. I do not have any issues with wireless devices such as phones, TV's or Ipads/Tablets. I have never had an error on these devices of having drops in service. Or, If I have they have been VERY limited. So, how do I fix this? I have tried the new DNS 1.0.0.1 and 1.1.1.1. DNS servers, but having the same issues. I'm also only using the 5ghz band on my desktop. All the other devices are on the 2.5ghz band. I have yet to "reset" the router which is a Nighthawk. Any specific thoughts? Thanks for all the help
