  1. its the PNY 1060 6gb card, i was just as suprised but the PCB of the board seems to scrape along the SATA hub at the opposite side of the motherboard preventing it from clicking into place, tho the 2nd slot seems to click in just fine
  2. Hi i recently upgraded various parts of my computer to. asus ROG z390-F motherboard Intel i7 9700k evga 700gd 700W power supply 16gb DDR4 corshair vengeance 3000mhz i am reusing the PNY GTX 1060 6gb from my previous PC however it does not show up in my bios or my device manager. When i go to bios and look at the connected PCIe slots, it says there are no attatched devices. Due to the size of my graphics card it will not fit in the 1st PCIE slot as it cannot fully seat in due to the SATA hub on the opposite side of the Motherboard, when i plug the GPU into the 2nd PCIe slot the fans spin and it appears the GPU is on however it does not show in bios or device manager. Any kind of assistance would be greatly appreaciated. (i do not know how to upload images of bios settings i hope the explanation was enough)
  3. Thanks for the response however ideally i would like to reinstall the operating system and start fresh. but i am unsure of how to format the drive while it has the operating system installed on it.
  4. How is this done if i dont boot into windows? when i am choosing which drive to install the OS to can i simply delete all partitions on the SSD and remove the previous OS at the same time? Thanks for the reply
  5. I recently purchased new PC components and i would like to format my SSD and reinstall windows to start from fresh (ive had issues with old versions of windows lingering after upgrading from 7 to 10 and can never remove them). The windows recovery tool on my computer is completely broken any reset attempts fail around 50%, i want to format the SSD and reinstall windows but i am unsure how to do this. (Can i format the drive when i boot from a USB drive and get to the partition assignment step). i appreciate this may be a confusing question any help would be appreciated.
