  1. i know they have thought through. I am just saying, I, would appreciate it. I think a benefit of amazon is that you can use their fulfillment, if they can ship their small items in bulk to amazon and use amazon to do last mile and fulfillment it might be worth it. edit: I am sure its very expensive, logistically, to ship an order of just a sticker pack, or a bit set for ltt. but it would be a way to sell some of those likely lower volume items that people likely skip unless they already happen to make a big order.
  2. Was just thinking, would be nice to get bit sets, the extension shaft for the screwdriver, or other small add-on items on amazon. Seems like a good way to snag a few extra dollars from someone who might otherwise skip an item like that, but then may grab it later. I don't really want to pay all this shipping for a bit set, so I end up waiting until I may buy something else with it, in the case of ltt stuff, its not like I am buying a new screwdriver every weekend, so it is usually a long time between. Just a thought.
  3. I do not recommend watching video guides for things like this, they quickly become outdated, and most sources for videos do not follow the practices established by the teams creating the mods and tools.
  4. computers get hot. is there an eco mode switch on the PSU? if so, you can try turning it off to see if the fan comes on. if the fan is never ever spinning, its probably time to replace the psu. like @Chapunna said.
  5. yes, make sure you install cfw on emunand. do it at your own risk if you do it correctly, slim to none, however, just like any type of modifications, you do it at your own risk, and your ability to read and follow instructions is critical. the guide that others have posted is comprehensive, so if you follow the guide precisely you generally will be fine. I would suggest reading through the guide 2-3 times and making sure you comprehend each step, what is being accomplished and why. understand the differences between nand types, and what you are actually installing on your device. if you have a release switch, the biggest risk is going to be going into RCM mode. When I first did it years ago, i didn't have a 3d printer and it was quite new so the jigs were not as widely available as they are now. I bent a paperclip and while it worked, it slightly scratched up the joycon slot. if you get a jig for a few dollars it will work very consistently. Once you are done with the mod you can use rekado if you have an android phone and usb c cable and you won't need to use the jig anymore.
  6. Seems like you have your answer here, why upgrade if your workload doesn't require it.
  7. either spiderverse, or They Cloned Tyrone, its a toss up for me.
  8. I've probably seen both Hot Fuzz and Shaun of the dead 20 times each. but for whatever reason World's End just doesn't have the same juice to me.
  9. I get pixel phones. Which I know is antithetical to your point, but I don't think there is a way around it. the pixel 6a is $349 and has security updates through mid 2027.
  10. does it crash without visualv running? That is a complete graphics overhaul mod, so your assumption that it won't have an effect is likely misguided. what are the actual errors? are you playing it through steam? if so have you tried the 'verify integrity' tool that steam has to fix corrupted files? what troubleshooting steps have you attempted so far? if you are getting memory errors, have you checked your available memory? (are you running out) remove variables (mods, other running programs, etc) and see if it crashes, if it doesn't, then add those variables back in one at a time, and do a full test (play the game for atleast 1.5x the time it was taking to crash before) to see which thing is causing the error. Also, post error logs.
  11. https://www.lttstore.com/products/deskpad?variant=39449420562535 specifically the 1500x700mm. they have been out of stock for i think over a year if not longer, and it seems like the newer designs don't have multiple sizes anymore. would be nice to update the store page to remove the sizes that aren't coming back so I know what I can reasonably expect will be available size wise.
  12. to add, power supplies also have an efficiency range, so oversizing the power supply is common when the load is generally constant and known. The efficiency of a power supply actually changes based on the load. Usually it is only a range of a ~5%, across 20%-100% loads, depending on the power supply (switch mode power supplies are really good) That being said if you want to calculate the power draw of a component, you need to consider the efficiency of the power supply, as that can have as much as a 30% (or more if using really cheap products, or linear power supplies) difference between drawn power and output power. a 30 watt power supply may actually be drawing as much as 40 watts at 100% load. usually switch mode power supplies run most efficient around 50% load, too low of a load and they start dropping efficiency again.
  13. this is a great resource! I am definitely leaning towards just replacing the case with a better design. unfortunately, it is seriously such an absolute hassle to work in this case that it gives me buyers remorse looking at it sometimes. I may post a picture here when I crack it open to put this hba in.
  14. Mostly its that I am buying more on a pretty regular schedule lol yea I have already found some better options after digging! missed that!
