AppleRebel's Achievements

  1. your welcome, I added the pic so you would see where to add the settings.
  2. setting the client-type advanced works great for me. also changed the next-unit-percentage to 95 to download a new wu just before the wu finishes.
  3. forgot if you want to get fancy, you can use powershell to find out what is using the video card
  4. Your welcome. I like the fact it's showing the pcie throughput for the video card. side note: if you are using an RMM product that allow custom monitoring, all the info in openhardwaremonitor are accessible through wmi queries so you can get alerts on when your hardware is not processing wu's (data you can pull with powershell)
  5. Try using openhardware monitor. https://openhardwaremonitor.org/downloads/ it was updated recently and it's showing my Rysen hardware including motherboard properly.
  6. Sorry for posting all the pics without spoilers section. I didn't know.
  7. Doing my part, just wish I would get WU's more frequently and had better video card. I have a nVIDIA GTS460 sitting on a shelf, was tempted to throw it in but looks like it's not supported . Any tips to make this better or is this as good as I can get? Note: no overclocks - all stock.
  8. looks like it was a placebo, server still not giving WU most likely due to load 17:03:55:WU00:FS00:Connecting to 65.254.110.245:8080 17:03:55:WARNING:WU00:FS00:Failed to get assignment from '65.254.110.245:8080': No WUs available for this configuration 17:03:55:WU00:FS00:Connecting to 18.218.241.186:80 17:03:56:WARNING:WU00:FS00:Failed to get assignment from '18.218.241.186:80': No WUs available for this configuration 17:03:56:ERROR:WU00:FS00:Exception: Could not get an assignment oh well. has anyone updated their Geforce driver? there is a new one but I fear it may break F@H. has anyone installed it?
  9. Something I just noticed and maybe a coincidence - when I left the F@H client choose CPU, I was getting jobs that would take between 20 to 40 Minutes to complete when I would get them (rarely). I changed the setting to 22 Cores - and instantly I got a WU that takes 2.5 hours to run and saw this entry in the log 14:47:10:WU01:FS00:0xa7:Reducing thread count from 22 to 21 to avoid domain decomposition with large prime factor 11 perhaps my config was oddball since I was getting small WU when I could get them? as for temp using a stock cooler, the 2 case fans in front and the machine at 100% cpu 78c VRMs MOS- 46c, PCH 47c, PCIEX16 39c, System 1 and 2 sensors, 30c and 35c. my GPU is 66c with a high of 71c seen. note - in basement with window open a little and it's cold down here so that may be helping. Hopefully that change helps me get more WU consistently.
  10. Just signed up to the forum and the cause using a Rysen 9 3900 and a Geforce 1050ti - the cpu can do the work in 20 minutes per WU - the gpu - 4 hours per WU. Just wish the servers would be stable - oh and if you use acronis - add the f@h exe to the whitelist for ransomware protection or it will block you after it uploads the first work unit. let kick this virus in the teeth!
