If you're trying to get accurate colors you won't be able to get around using a colorimeter and calibration Software like DisplayCal. Adaptive contrast basically darkens the whole screen when the scene is dark and it will brighten the screen when you view bright content. I'd always turn it off because it will result in a very inconsistent Image.

What is the cpu core voltage? Turn off mce?

I dont even know what MCE is sorry.

Core voltage spikes at 1.446V, but keep in mind it's 9900ks and not 9900k.

Briefly it might need to draw more power for some reason, and the temp will spike. As long as every 30 seconds this doesn't happen for more than 5-10 seconds, you're fine.

Yeah, it happends for less than a second, and it's quite rare, maybe once every 30 minutes at max.

    And Thank you :)

  3. So i usually sit around 60 - 75c, monitoring with HW monitor (this is while gaming) Wicther 3, Warzone etc. Ultra settings)

sometimes i see spikes that have hit up to 90c, is this normal, and why do they happen?

Should be similar, or lower.. or maybe even a little higher.. wont know until you try. Everyone has a different environment. I went from a D14 to H100 using 120x38s, and it was excellent. But over time as my H100 turned to wet poop, I wished I would have kept the D14, but I had to try it. Everyone said how good they were.. well, they are "ok" for about18 months or so.. I still like my big air coolers and lots of wind. Probably wont change my mind.

I take the block out first, and just let it hang over the edge. then I undo the rad and pull it all out.

Ty so much for your response, every input is appreciated,

I am just not comfurtable with water cooler, noticed some droplets on the glass side panel aswell lately,

even tho i have two humidyfidiers in the room, so thats also a reason why i want to swap to a noctua.

Dont like the fact there might be a small leak, even tho the h100 is only three months old.

What is your current cooler? Or is it something that comes included in the case?

Oh sorry my bad current cooler is Corsair h100.

Is your case the CM H100? That supports coolers up to 83mm, while the NH-D15 is like 160mm or something.

It's the h500, it states on noctua's website that they should be compatible.

  6. So i have a question, i just ordered an Noctua nh-d15, to replace for my cooler master h100,

simple reason is that im just not a fan of AIO cooling.

Are my temps gonna become higher, lower og similair on my CPU?

do i need to remove my CPU from the socket to clean of the thermal paste or can i do it mounted.

And also, it's been some years since i have last time tinkered with my PC, so in what order do i take the AIO out, water block first, or radiator.

Obviously i will remove the GPU to get proper acces.

    My setup:

    Case: NZXT H500

Motherboard: ASUS TUF Z390 PLUS GAMING
    Hard drive: 1TB M.2 NVMe X4 (INTEL 660P)
    CPU: Intel Core i9 9900KS
