I set up my former streaming rig as a dedicated F@H rig. Not much just a R5-1600 and a GTX 970. Currently I'm folding on the GPU only. So two stupid questions. Question the first, if I put my CPU to work am I putting it at risk/shortening the life span of it or the motherboard? Its being cooled by the Wraith Spire from my R7-2700X in a old HAF case that has tons of ventilation so I'm not worried about temps. Question the second, how badly can I expect it to hit the power bill if I let the CPU go to work? Thanks!
