  1. I have a ryzen 2600 on a a320 (it is a black Friday 2 year old pre built) last night while watching YouTube i had a blue screen and then a error message something about could not read memory in external slot or something like that. It gave me a prompt to hit f8 to retry i pressed f8 a few time but it would come back to the same screen. so I restarted the computer and then it wouldn't post anything to the monitors. So i tried the simple stuff first i unplugged and plugged back in the hard drives i have a 500gb ssd and a 4tb hdd. but no luck still not posting. so i tried reseating the ram i only have 1 8gb stick but still not posting. I upgraded the GPU at the beginning of the year (from a 1060 3gb to a 5700 non xt) so i tried reinstalling the old one but still not posting. I remember with the secret shopper video's recently that most thing don't post if the ram is unplugged so since i only have 1 8gb(2400mz) stick I go out to best buy to get some more ram i have been planning to upgrade to 16gb so i figured it would hurt to have some laying around. they had a 16gb 2400mz set for $65 or a 3600mz for $70 i got the 3600 since i have seen a few videos about ryzens liking faster ram. I installed the new ram and now my computer works I also remember to turn xmp? or something on in my bios since i knew it wouldn't run at that speed with out it. after turning it on it said it was at 3333mz but i figured that was maybe a limit of either my A320 MB or my ryzen 2600. So i just wanted to share my exp and thank everyone for making all those computer videos i have been watching :P
  2. I want to upgrade my GPU but im unsure of what i want to get. i have a ryzen 5 2600 with a 1060 3gb card right now all im looking to do is play 1080. I only have a 60hz old 1080p monitor right now but if i get a good enough card i have been thinking of upgrading the size and then the hz of my monitor. the 5600 is a little cheaper right now and comes with a few games and gamepass so normally i would just go for it. Most reviews i see though still like the features of the 2060 better and the performance of the two cards is fairly close on most games. what do you guys think? thanx
