They won’t even install, amongst other reasons I need it to be version 1903 so I can play Modern Warfare which requires at least version 1803.

Does that do a clean reset or do I keep my files? I have nowhere to store my files that i've backed up onto the one USB I own, so I cant have that empty to boot from the USB.

Does that not have the same impact as using the Media Creation tool on the same computer without using a USB?

I've been stuck on Windows 10 version 1703 for two years now, everytime my PC has tried to automatically update or i've tried to force it to update, it always encounters a failure. Error codes: feature update to Windows 10, version 1903 - Error 0x80242006 The Installation Failed In The Safe_OS Phase With An Error During Apply_Image Operation I have tried everything microsoft support have told me to do, tried to reset to no avail, windows 10 update assistant, DISM and SFC commands in the command prompt, everything you can think of. I really want to update my windows 10 to version 1903 but it just won't work, I have wondered if it's because I bought a windows key off of ebay but it is a genuine key that is activated fine. If anyone knows how to fix this, please help.
