  1. Memory usage varies. One of the biggest factors is how many people are online at any given time. More players means more chunks loaded, meaning more RAM usage. I wouldn’t be surprised, though, if memory usage increased on average as the server got older. As you build more complex structures like redstone contraptions and mob farms, memory usage may increase. I think you might be confusing memory with storage. The game save/world size will generally only increase, as you explore the world.
  2. Personally I agree that the underwear is one of the less-good products on the store. I wear a mix of Stance and Gap boxer-briefs and they have treated me well, though the Stance pairs are expensive. I have fairly large legs and I’d say that the sizing on the LTT pair is just kinda wrong—I’m not exactly sure how to describe it as I’m not wearing a pair right now. Maybe I just need a different size, though.
  3. Hey, I'm currently planning on coming in to the expo from the New York area. I'd love to do the BYOC, but I'm not exactly sure how I can do it considering the transportation requirements. The ideal situation, from my perspective, would be to rent a computer for the BYOC. Whether this rental comes from the Expo itself or from some other local computer shop doesn't matter much to me, the main consideration is that I do not have to find a way to transport my personal system across the country. Assuming that's not possible, what are my other options? I'm currently considering the Orca ticket, and I still definitely want to go to the BYOC, so I guess I just have to figure out a way to get my computer over the distance? I have a Fractal Design Meshify C, and I'm not sure how easy it would be to transport. Do you guys have any experience doing this sort of thing? I'd also need some way to transport my monitor, I guess. Anyway, in case it wasn't clear from my rambling, I have two questions. First, is it possible to rent a computer + monitor from someone, LMG or otherwise? Failing that, how in the world am I going to get my computer to Vancouver?
  4. ….not sure I’d call visiting a publicly available website leeching…
  5. I don't think I've ever driven anywhere to get a part. I use marketplaces like Ebay where shipping is really easy for sellers, so you can get stuff pretty cheap but also never have to meet with someone random. Plus its super convenient.
  6. Good to know a more scientific reasoning. Definitely feeling much better about the water bottle now. Now I just need to decide a color... By the way, I'm marking this as solved. Thanks everyone!
  7. This is good to know. I might do a bit more research, blah blah blah, but I'm probably just gonna buy the water bottle The argument I used with my sister is that if it were unsafe, the LTT staff wouldn't use it, however this does reassure me. Thanks for the quick reply!
  8. My sister was going to buy me the LTT water bottle for Christmas, however, noticed a strange warning at the bottom of the site. "This product is not designed for the long-term storage of liquids". Why does it say this? I'm fairly confident LTT would never sell an unsafe water bottle, but I'm wondering what exactly this warning means. Especially since I don't see it on other water bottles on retailers like Amazon. It seems somewhat strange that a water bottle wouldn't be designed for the storage of liquids... Can someone convince me (and my sister) to buy it (or otherwise)?
