  1. Hello, I have very weird problem and I have found that it has to do with temps of the card. The card is MSI MECH X2 RX6600 It powers off immediately, and needs about a minute to allow me to power on again, just like thermal emergency power down. I thought it was my fault because I dont have a good case, and my fan curve was about an open case i had before. But it never reaches 90C hotspot temp, yet alone 115C wich should be emergency power off temp. I have raised the power limit from 100W (core) to 115W (with MorePowerTool) but I keep the temps under control. It seems to happen at load, but not always, and not always at the same temp. Weird thing is that at stress test, i draw more watts, and have higher temps, but it does not power off. I have tested changing fan curve, but its never fast enough, only stock seems to never power off, but it is extremely loud and cool (hotspot 75C) and 2300rpm. I have a screenshot of a log, at the moment it powered off. I cant see anything wrong besides VRAM MHz, but thats at 0 for over 2 mins. Any ideas?
  2. Hello, I seem to have a strange problem and dont really know what to look for to solve it. I just upgraded from ryzen 3 1200 to ryzen 5 2600x on a gigabyte ab350m-h3v I had to also update the bios to F20, the first version that supports 2xxx series (i didnt skip any version). It just powers off at random moments(w/o any bsod or any sign) or at full threaded stress tests. My observations are -Idle temps kinda high 50ish -load i cant even see because as soon as i prees start test it powers off -at ryzen master edc seems abnormally high 90ish % on idle -memory tests are fine and memory stress test dont cause anything, just loke gpu tests -everything at stock -stock cooler Psu is a corsair cx 550 relatively new doubt it can cause any problem -Graphics card is rx 570 totally working -ram is 1 stick 8gb (xmp is at 1.35V 3000MHz) and changing slot does nothing -I doubt its the temps, cause airflow is decent, (gpu is 67°C max), and also stock cooler should be good for not overclocking.. Also it dies instantly as i press start and not some seconds after warming up. Even weirder is that single core tests (occtp for example) seem to work fine with that load reaching 65°C It has been very confusing and annoying and have no clue what to do now..
  3. Yeah.. I see.. I was thinking about be quiet! Shadow Rock slim cause I dont need to spend so much for a noctua and be quiet is very very good also. But I think a cleaner look of an AIO is worth some extra money if you say its not gonna change my idle decibel levels
  4. I ve never owned a liquid cooling unit. But now im planning on getting a new cooler for my r5 3600 because cryorig c7 is not enough. I mean its not throttling, but if i do smth more than gaming it goes well over 2000rpm. So I think about AIOs (its not worth 300€ for just a cpu custom loop) but im concerned about noise. I use headphones when gaming so I only care about idle noise cause I have an open case. I ve read that pumps used to make noise, and my pc now is barely audible on idle. AIOs like CoolerMaster MasterLiquid ML240L RGB or Enermax LIQMAX III RGB 240mm can be almost inaudible at idle? Fans at 500rpm are inaudible so I ask for the pumps.
  5. So I have an r5 3600 which I dont OC and mostly game on it, so it is not stressed that much. I have a thermaltake core p3 open case and thats why i care a lot about noise. I dont use the stock cooler because it makes a motory noise on every rpm. I had a cryorig c7 and i placed it which is very silent (after some tweaking) on idle and lite browsing but it revs pretty high on load and is not enough to PBO. Also aida64 goes over 85°C. In other words its enough, but not comfortable and I plan on buying a new BUT; The case is meant for liquid cool and has an empty space otherwise A block of metal in a sleek open case is kind of.. off So I think of spending a bit extra for an AIO but I am concerned of the noise Most importantly, the floor noise. I have never owned an AIO but I ve heard that pumps add noise you cant avoid, even with low rpm fans. I mostly care about idle and low load noise cause otherwise I use headphones. So Im asking, can cheap AIOs be as quiet as an air cooler (or at least very very quiet) on low loads?
