  1. Of course perfect DRM protection doesent exist, but still I don't want to make it too obvious/easy for the end users. The service I want to deploy is not targeted at tech savvy people.
  2. Hi, has anyone have any experience with hosting videos on CDN? (Either comercial video CDNs or on self hosted one) I need to host videos with max. monthly traffic of 150 Gb. Hosting on Vimeo Plus, YouTube or even consumer grade cloud services is not an option, since we want to rent the videos to customers and prevent unauthorised downloading. Thank you for help!
  3. Hi, I watched a report on BBC news about inappropriate community hosted clone sites of the original Club Penguin ran by Disney. If you want to catch up, here's article about the case: https://www.bbc.com/news/technology-52677039 While I was watching the report, I was wondering how did the authors of the community sites get away with running them in the first place and how is it, that there are multiple clone sites like this? I thought, that Disney is quite strict with their intellectual property. Are they safe because the whole thing has been backwards engineered? (They are using the original artwork, so i doubt that) Is the "comunity server" some kind of unofficial open source? If you know something about this, please share. I§m quite fascinated about the whole thing.Thank you.
  4. Hi, I'm interested in Floatplane server hosting solution, since I'm probably going to deploy my own streaming solution for my clients. I found this tread on the forum: Has anything changed? Is there anything new regarding the subject? Thanks for your answers!
