Hi there, I'm looking forward to build a RENDERING Machine for CGI, Animation, Rendering etc.
The Components I've found that meet my requirements in prespective of cash (3500$) I can spend so far are
1. AMD RYZEN 3950x
2. ASUS WS PRO x570 ACE/ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO (WIFI)
3. 2x NVIDIA RTX 2070 SUPER (Rendering) + NVLINK 3 WAY
4. 1x NVIDIA RTX 2060 SUPER (Viewport)
5. 512 GB SAMSUNG EVO PRO 970 M.2 NVME
6. 1TB SSD HikVision
7. 2x 32GB 3200/3600Mhz CORSAIR VENGEANCE
8. IceGiant ProSiphon Elite
9. 1600 watt Power Supply
10. A Full Tower ATX CASING (Local Vendor)
Now there is a little bit of confusion I have:
1. How can I install three GPUs with 3950x which used to have 24 PCIe lanes? I mean how can I set GPU configuration mode like x8/x8/x8 in PCIe 4.0 for ASUS ROG CROSSHAIR VIII HERO (WIFI) as I also want to install an M.2 Nvme.
2. What Motherboard should I go for except MSI MEG x570 Godlike(too costly), I also want a WiFi, Bluetooth and TPM header to make sure my encryption. And for performance I would usually need to overclock it.
3. I've seen ChaosGroup Vray benchmark on RYZEN 3950x they had used 5x RTX 2080Ti and 1x GTX 1080 how would they managed that?
4. Does NVLINK combines the VRAM of GPUs?
