  1. Update: I managed to test the GPU on another PC ( my old PC which BTW used the same GPU that I'm having issues) and still no display, but I realized that my monitor was receiving signal because of it's LED, but the image received is always black. When I connected "A" monitor to MOBO and "B" monitor to the GPU, I had windows running on "A" monitor and a black screen with signal on "B" monitor, I saw that the dual monitor function of windows was working, I was able to drag a chrome window from "A" monitor to "B" monitor. Maybe the GPU is just faulty and not dead, anybody have some thoughts on this? If the GPU displays Black screen and the monitor receives signal and windows dual monitor function detects that GPU monitor, indicates that the GPU Works but why the black screen?
  2. I did a repair install on windows and still haven't fixed. The motherboard is detecting a nvidia gpu on one of the PCIe ports, but when I go to device manager > display adapters, it shows geforce 1070 with a yellow exclamation mark icon on it.
  3. I got access to BIOS with the dGPU plugged-in and when I go to Board Explorer, it detects my GTX on that specific port, when I tried on the other port it didn't detected. I feel I'm finnaly getting to the end of this, and hopefully is a happy ending. Also the fan is turned off when I boot up, and still no display Going to install an older version of windows to see if it fixes my issue
  4. I get no display, but the warning yellow sign in display adapters still showing. Right now I have one monitor connected to the igpu and one on dgpu. When I boot the PC, I get no display on both monitors for about 1-2 minutes when it eventually displays windows on the iGPU monitor. During that the dGPU fan works but as soon as the iGPU monitor displays windows login, the fan stops working. Why it takes 1-2 minutes for it to decide to use the iGPU display after I enabled in the BIOS to use both iGPU and dGPU? The only way I can access BIOS is by unplugging the dGPU, when I try with the dGPU connected I get no display on both iGPU monitor and dGPU monitor.
  5. I got it, changed BIOS settings to allow to use both iGPU and dGPU, after running DDU and running nvidia drivers installer I got no images on both monitors, the one that is plugged to the MOBO and the one that is connected to my GTX, also while I had no display the GPU fan stopped running, then I decided to force shut down the PC. When I go to Device Manager There is a GTX 1070 on display adapters, but it has a warning sign. Then I go to it I have all this I tried reinstalling drivers and I got Geforce experience, which told me to update the drivers, I updated and still no display, BTW now my FAN is turned OFF and I can feel the GPU is warm. I'm not sure but I think as soon as I boot the PC the FAN runs but when I get to windows, the FAN stops working. I don't know what is happening!
  6. Hopefully the most obvious solution fixes, I'll try doing a driver update and see how it goes Thanks for your help
  7. Thanks for your response. What is iGPU? What is dGPU? The only way I can access device manager is by connecting to my monitor to the MOBO, but to do that I need to unplug my GPU from the PC, how is it going to recognize the GPU? Can I use the MOBO hdmi port while GPU is connected?
  8. Gtx 1070 Mini 8gb i7-6th gen 1 monitor on display port (main monitor) 1 monitor on hdmi (secondary monitor) 16gb hyperx ram 500W evga power supply 2x 2GB HDD 1x 120GB SSD Windows 10 pro 64bits Hello everyone, so this morning I powered my PC and started watching some Youtube and after 10 minutes using the pc, my secondary monitor turns black and my main monitor had a solid red color ( my windows color ). I thought it was an update but nothing other than the red screen showed. I powered off the PC and powered on again, using the buttons on the case. All of my screens were showing no signal, my stream deck was displaying correctly so that means windows was running but no display. After a while I saw one of my monitors switching to a 640px x "something"px, but still no display. My GPU had the fan running - I tried cleaning my components and no fix - Tried switching my GPU to another pci-e on the motherboard, no fix - Checked power cables, they were all in place - I unplugged one of my HDDs and didn't work - I removed the gpu and plugged hdmi from secondary monitor to the Motherboard hdmi port and it displayed windows on my secondary monitor. This is all what I tried so far GPU fan is running, but that doesn't confirm gpu is working. Do I try updating nvidia experience and then plug gpu back and give it a run? Is there a way to check if GPU is dead or not? Please help me fix these! Thanks for your time
