  1. keyboard looks slick, but $700 itself is a stretch that my mom is willing to give me. If I went with the 1600 AF, would it still work good for stable processing power, and performance?
  2. I like the bottom build's monitor but that video card's too expensive. and I do need a keyboard. I said this somewhere not sure if you followed it, please make sure it's quiet and not super loud like my laptop. it sounds like an actual fan running at HIGH 24/7 until I turn it off. other than that, a "worse" video card with more GB and a keyboard, along with a 27" Monitor if possible. as stated above ^
  3. oh btw it was a 60 Hz refresh rate. forgot to mention that. I haven't got any desk yet, still looking to finish the outlay of the PC before getting an actual desk. I want 24 inch or more, 60 Hz or more, 1080p (for a monitor)
  4. any recommended monitors? I found an asus $159.99 with 16:9 (1080p resolution) and 14 pounds weight, 27 inch screen. I can link it from amazon. but that goes over my budget so i'm thinkin maybe a 24 inch would work for me
  5. thank you, that's cool to know. so should I focus on CPU/GPU upgrade or just go for a cooling system? and just to triple check, the "CPU" is a CPU/GPU combination. correct? I think I know that AMD is known for this, but again, gotta triple check
  6. Alright, and just to double check, all this stuff should fully be compatible with each other and work well, with a stable decent amount of performance? and my mom said I can do $700 budget now, can we focus on monitor and cooling system? or is cooling system not needed? There was already a thread for this made by me that ended up dying, and this is where it ended. Anyone mind helping me finish this today or within the next few days?

  8. thanks. i'm going to sleep now everyone, thank you all for concluding it all. and if possible can someone please make a new updated pcpartpicker list for me? i'll be up in 7 hours again, thank you all!
  9. ok sounds good, and yeah I'm gonna need that 16 GB. and so in simpler terms: old motherboard, possible to update but too complicated for users like me who are new to the community new CPU + old motherboard = bad old CPU = cheaper and compatible thank you for the help, means a lot since i've grown up with PC's that can hardly load facebook. haha. my current laptop was an upgrade but even it is overheating 24/7.
  10. is it efficient enough for hardcore gamers like me with a walmart laptop? XD ok but in all seriousness, why would you suggest more memory? I don't know what memory has to do with performance or anything. and other than that, could you please edit the list on PC part picker for me to add the 2600 or whatever? what's this: Some AMD B450 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Matisse CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.
  11. alright thanks for the suggestion, but i'd like to focus on a better compatiable PSU first, as it seems important.
  12. I currently use GeForce NOW and I already play on medium settings and 120 fps. and keep in mind I don't need all 480 GB's, as it will mainly be used for discord and fortnite, not much else. same with the 8 GB DDR4 memory, I only need 6 GB as that works perfectly for the laptop i'm on right now. and the monitor doesn't have to be great, neither does the case nor power supply. as long as they work good and won't have any problems, and are easy to put together and build, with decent cooling, and not too loud.
  13. it IS standard for such budget, but i'm sure I could get a better one with a worse GPU or CPU.
  14. uh my wireless mouse USB C plug sounds exactly like the white PSU, it heats up easily and gets all hot. my old mouse plug melted
