  1. Oh hell ya! That did the trick. Updated both then popped the m.2 drives back in with the 3900x, assigned them as boot drive and viola!! Thanks my dude.
  2. But you were able to run raid 0 with this setup? I have the latest bios installed. I'll update the others and give it another go. Thx.
  3. Well it turns out it was the raid array. Someone else mentioned that when they removed the m.2 drive from the back of the Mobo that they were finally able to boot to windows. Does anyone know why this is? I would really like to be able to run those two m. 2 drives in raid 0 but am I going to need to upgrade my Mobo to x570 to do so with the 3700x?
  4. I will use my kill-a-watt to check the power draw and see if that is the case. I would like to confirm the problem before blindly throwing any money at it. Can u think of anything else I might be able to try to rule something out? I'm installing Windows on an SSD and I'm going to remove my m.2 raid array and see if it's that that was causing the issue as well.
  5. System specs AMD R9 3900x (upgrading from R7 1700x) ROG STRIX B450-I mini ITX Mobo BIOS 3004 Micron Ballistic DDR4 3200Mhz 2x 970 Evo NVMe M.2 in RAID 0 ZOTAC RTX2060 Corsair SF450 PSU I updated the bios with my 1700x installed to the latest version (3004). After installing my 3900x the PC won't post. It makes it to the Mobo logo screen then dies. Rinse repeat. I made it to the BIOS once. Tried putting ram in D.O.C.P. Didn't help. WTF? Do I need to just suck it up and upgrade to the X570? I have seen people successfully run this same setup. Is it my RAID setup that's causing issues? Another dude in the forums mentioned he removed the M.2 on the back of the board and he was finally able to boot. I couldn't try this as my drives are set to RAID 0. Any ideas? Thanks.
