Thanks for the link. The strange think is that fdisk doesn't show this disks so i thought that the firmware on the ssds prevent them from running on the hba, but after some digging in /dev/disk/by-path/ i found them and verified the config with smartctl --all /dev/sdb

Hi, recently i bought 7 400GB 12G SAS SSD on eBay [1] from a chinese seller. This were advertised as Samsung PM1635a SSD but my Dell server doesn't recognizanced the ssd's so i did some digging. Cheap would be under 1000. That's the reason why i'm searching for an used server but i don not know which server model is suitable. HP DL580 G7 would be an option, but this could only work with 4-5 GPUs

Hey, i'm searching for an used 4U server witch has room for at least 6 dual slot RX480 GPUs to run 6 VMs witch dedicated GPU with PCIe passthrough. I know the video from linus with the SYS-4027GR-TR Supermicro server, but i cann't find it on the used market. Has anyone an idea which model cloud work?
