  1. Something to keep in mind: If Nvidia follows it previous release schedule,I think September will see the 3080 release, Late September/October will see the 3070, and a 3060 in November or December. So, depending on you price bracket, it may be an additional 1-2 months after September depending on each person's price bracket.
  2. ---------------------------------------------- Summary Venkata “Murthy” Renduchintala, Chief Engineering officer and group president of its technology, systems architecture and client group, will resign on August 3 Quotes My thoughts It think this is the beginning of more shake-ups and resignations. I personally think this resignation is the result of some internal argument where the CEO wants to go a different direction that Renduchintala doesn't want to, and so he is going to get out while he can. While it could be a "forced" resignation, I just don't see Intel giving up such high level talent like that especially when he is in charge of design and tech, not sales and product strategy, and losing him will hurt 7nm deployment. I don't think this will be the last high level resignation, and its going to continue to hurt Intel into the future. 3. Does vertical mounting really affect it that much? I use a Cablemod vertical mount for my gigabyte RX 5700, and I haven't noticed much higher temps unless I use the stock fan curve from AMD (which is a garbage fan curve imo).
  4. So, I learned today that you can download Wikipedia in its entirety onto your computer and it only takes up about 80 gigabytes. I wonder is Linus and company keep an extra few hundred copies on their server? How long has this been I thing? Do you know how much random time I have spent on wikipedia?! Too Much. Look into XOWA if anyone is interested in their own personal copy of wikipedia
