  1. I dont know what the issue is with windows updates. I built a new Asus PC 1 year ago on the 390 platform the Maximus XI extreme . I installed windows 1909 at the time and updates and running were fine. When 2004 came out the system wouldn't update. Just waste my time and on last reboot would roll back changes. Everytime I tried it would give a different error code. An IT friend gave several suggestions but nothing worked. Now I'm dealing with same issue on 20H2. Every attempt just rolls back. Unplugged USB devices, Unmapped my other PC's (Which have updated Successfully) and lastly used Microsoft Media 20H2, which was a failure also. Used all the best name parts, Asus, Samsung M.2 NVME 2t ssd,1200 Watt corsair PS, and 240 Corsair AIO cooler. My Intel I9-9900KS runs around 47 Deg at idle and 2 cores may hit 100 running Sinebench. Have it overclocked at 5.1 and has never froze or locked up. Am to the point of completly tearing it apart, selling the board and CPU and starting over. Any idea's Thanks, Wendell McBurnett.
  2. Recently Got a new Dell Alien ware laptop (M17) that I configured and upgraded to my liking. After installing a new Samsung NVME m.2 2TB drive and installing Windows 10 Pro I found out that Samsung Magician wouldn't work and recognize the Drive. Windows however recognized it fine. The Issue however was that Dell Ships All there Laptops with Raid enabled instead of AHCI . AHCI would be a better choice of course. Tried some things after reviewing u tube videos and booting into safe mode( which was a disaster as windows wouldn't accept my password and had to do a full restore). But I seem to be stuck in a Raid setup. Is there anyway to resolve this short of completely restoring the OS. Made a back up of the original NVME m.2 SSD that shipped with the laptop, so I can clone this to the Samsung 2TB drive if needed, but don't know if using this with the BIOS set to AHCI and installing would work? Any thoughts would Help. Wendell
