It worked! I turned off “Enabled Fast Boot” and tried Win10 again via USB. TA DA!!! Seriously, thank you guys! also I turned it back on after install and everything still works fine

So this scrolled by, and then it wouldn’t boot to the Linux usb... I’m trying to search what exactly this means, but if anyone knows or has ideas, I’d love to hear it!

Did you run something once you were in the live session? Some diagnostic program?

Will try to see how it looks. I have been able to install Windows 7 Pro via disc. Just don’t understand why Win10 is having problems.

Unfortunately I’m not too familiar with it, but I did have Ubuntu on a laptop years ago. Should I try to install a distro via usb?

Whether I attempt to install via USB or disc the computer freezes on the initial load screen. I left it hoping it was just processing slow, but after two hours nothing changed.

So I just saved a Dell Precision T3500 from a trip to the dump. Owner thought it was broken but it was just missing RAM. I like giving computers a second life when possible. I've been trying to install Windows 10 but have had no luck. I was able to install Win7 with no problem. I have updated the bios to "A17", and have updated other drivers as well. I have tried to install Win10 via disc and usb, but still no luck. Anybody have any ideas?
