  1. Hello everyone, first timer here!, I've been having issues lately, I have dual monitor setup, I used to have my two monitors connected directly to my graphics card (gf 1070), one to the displayport and the other one to the HDMI. It worked fine for more than a year. One day the HDMI started failing. The cable was fine, the monitor was fine. I checked on the card and I found some corrosion in the board near the port. I switched to the HDMI port of the motherboard and It worked fine for a few weeks, but now the screen blacks out when entering Windows. I checked all the usual suspects: Windows key + P... etc. The funny thing is that I know that, hardware-wise, everything is fine, since the BIOS boots happens on that screen that blacks out when windows loads. The monitor is not detected by the NVIDIA control panel (Which used to apear there even after being conected to the motherboard I think...) I updated both Nvidia and Intel graphics drivers... still not working. Any hints on where to start troubleshooting? Best regards!
